  2. Oh -- forgot! I order a dozen of these calendars every year (at wholesale!) and mail them to various friends, most of whom can't wait to get theirs every year: https://www.surroundedbyasses.com Different, unique, cost-effective, and appreciated.
  3. Estate sales, Y ma'am. This past year, I got a Hickory dining-room table + 6 chairs = $175 (not a misprint), and two huge living-room chairs + 2-seat theater-style sofa = $555 including tax & delivery. One can also up-clean on these at estate sales. Estate sales aren't just at dead people's musty, dusty houses -- they can also be held on behalf of empty-nesters who are downsizing or professionals who are being transferred overseas, for two examples.

  5. Post ordered to remain in CEHST as a very Current Event and (obviously) Hot Social Topic. Over-flexed rhodium snaps in two, or shatters into a gabillion molecules. Only 30,000 upvotes per day, down from 30,001.
  6. I'll visit Mexico early next month. Will observe amoxicillin supplies and ask the pharmacists about shortages. Mexican drugs are typically manufactured by major European labs or the major Mexican labs in Mexico City, and are often available through the European distributors for the well-known U.S. pharmaceutical producers. Of note, all the pharmacies had shelves completely full of baby formula when I visited in June.
