Good luck in your process. -
Thrilling Friday non-GS/ES/TS report, see man: We were surprised at how empty the freeways and most interior arteries were, amazing man. Amid TS-ing, got most of next week's vittles at an Aldi, shop we man. Lunch was at 2 p.m. in very non-busy Mexican restaurant, ingest & in-out in half an hour we man. Forecast monsoon held off until we were almost at casa, timing is everything man. Miu outraged at delayed service of treats, indignant miu man. Serviced miu, then napped for nearly 2 hours, zzz we man. Mama T-B. finally almost recovered from flulike illness and back to full nagging strength, nag we at length on multitudinous topics senior she man. No formal din-din, still full from lunch man. Went out to legacy supermarket to fill in Aldi list and got monsooned on, fortunately closely parked we man. (Miu will not let us stash groceries unmolested, highly investigatory miu man.) Uninhibited cavorting with the rubias begins imminently, cavort we man.

Black Friday & Cyber Monday 2022
TBoneTX replied to TBoneTX's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
Of note, when I was drilling Mrs. T-B. on her citizenship test years ago and came to the question "Name 2 national holidays," she said, "Independence Day, and... and... Black Friday." In Spanish, Black Friday = viernes negro. -
Black Friday & Cyber Monday 2022
TBoneTX replied to TBoneTX's topic in Current Events and Hot Social Topics
T-B.'s Black Friday results: NIP = new in package -- Cindy Crawford bath towel, approx. 100 dinner napkins = $2.75 (estate sale) -- 8-compartment plastic storage container = $1 (garage sale) -- Eddie Bauer short pants = $4.50 (Goodwill) -- Many NIP disposable plates (cake, sandwich, dinner sizes), NIP Buttoneer, bag of pipe-cleaners, approx. 10 pants-hangers = $7.37 (thrift store, all half-price) Total = $15.62 [Note: T-B. = cheap gringo] Shouldn't have much use for the Buttoneer [as seen on TV], but have always wanted one. The thrift store normally has one tag-color 50% off and another 30% off. Today, they had 4 of their 6 colors half-price. Drove a very long way, was out for nearly 6 hours, and made it home almost before the latest monsoon began. To be accurate, also spent $20.68 at Aldi and $24.57 at a legacy supermarket (stuff for next week). Good Mexican lunch at 2 p.m. in nearly empty restaurant -- from seating through eating to checkout, 30 minutes. -

Or, perhaps more likely in the near term, it'll be taxed from you. -

Ah -- you can report it to LinkedIn, to start. That might at least get the profile taken down. Then, search for official resources where you can report the situation. -

Someone here may know. Meanwhile, I suggest searching for "where to report U.S. employment scams" or similar. Let us know what you find. -

This Ridgley seems to live in Nevada, not Maryland. Furthermore, the hiring company cannot guarantee you a visa. -

The (773) phone matches that of a freight company in Chicago. Is the job that they're offering you something that they can't hire a U.S. citizen for? -

Post was edited to remove what appears to have been your name. --------- This letter looks like a scam. The letter contains grammatical errors, and the punctuation is suspect. Are they (you) trying to get an H1-B visa? Have you Googled "William Michael Ridgley" and "Mrs. William Gloria" and the company, and looked for scam alerts? Who approached whom in regard to this job? What country are you in/from? -
You're welcome. I-90s are taking a very, very long time to be acted upon. Others here with more knowledge will be along after the holiday to offer more-specific advice. Edited to add: Ah, good -- someone knowledgeable responded there. P.S. It's usually better not to cross-post... it sometimes treads on hijacking others' threads or spamming the forums. I won't squeal on you.

Is your current card conditional, or 10-year?

I had to watch part of this (the last half-hour) while awaiting lunch. It was worth it, because the female commentators on Telemundo are absolute foxes. If people can determine what's going on without understanding Spanish, I recommend watching it on Telemundo.

It's indeed fraud. Avoid even thinking about it. Now, the beneficiary can enter the U.S. on a tourist visa, marry the petitioner, and leave the U.S. The petitioner would then file the I-130 petition, the approval of which enables the beneficiary to apply for a CR-1 visa. The CR-1 is superior to the K-1 in several ways, and the process for both takes approximately the same time. A gentle correction, because precise terminology is important: you're about to "file the I-129F petition, which, when approved, would enable the beneficiary to apply for a K-1 visa."

Half-Thrilling Half-Thanksgiving* Half-Report, half-see man: *Columbus Day in Poland, oj tak Went to Dollar General and got some stuff, open today man. Got a $Many-off-$Many coupon for Saturday, financially savvy we man. Went to Ex-Mrs.-T-B.'s for T'giving lunch, ingest we man. Ex-Mrs.-T-B., Mini-B., Cousin Mini-B., and Cousinette Mini-B. there, Mama T-B. still too weak to attend man. Consumed 2 plates, ingest we man. Confirmed that "piggish gringo" is gringo puerco and not puerco gringo, grammatical we man. Delivered small plate to Mama T-B., deliver we to senior she man. Mama T-B. lectured us about various stuff for several minutes, nearly normal senior she man. This delay enabled us to exit her place in the mother of all monsoons, deluge man. Even with umbrella, managed to get rather soaked, forgot soap/shampoo we man. At casa, immediately serviced demanding miu, time for miu-treats man. We shall now siesta in heartiest fashion, tryptophan overload man.
