  1. All it would take would be one data-operator. It might help, too, if your fiancée were to find a new job now, completely out of her medical area -- e.g., retail. Ah -- found a can of air -- will apply to keyboard now.
  2. That may be your opportunity. Find out who the chief financial officer (and the chief data guy) are at her former place of employment, and con$ider what influence$ or inducement$ might prompt her early removal from Payroll. (Dumb keyboard of mine with cat hair jamming a key here... will try to fix...)
  3. On the personal side, some respectful recommendations: -- Avoid trying to do other people's jobs (Congressional liaison, travel agent), but stay on them. -- Where there's a will, there's a way. -- Yes, anxiety and stress, but you're way ahead of the game in having an engineer's mind and logic.
  4. For planning, see here: https://visaguide.world/visa-free-countries/cuban-passport/
  5. Thoughts: 1. Can she resign from her job and state that she's giving up dentistry? 2. Have you involved your Congressman's office yet? See if their "release waiver" (permission to handle your case) is online; if so, fill it out in advance. Next, phone the Congressman's Washington, DC office tomorrow and ask for the immigration liaison. Have the release waiver ready to fax or e-mail. Let us know.
  6. If you're able to evacuate her in a hurry, have her do everything she can to bring along her important "life" documents -- birth certificate, divorce certificates if applicable, immunization records, university transcripts, et al. -- especially any that would be difficult/expensive/impossible to obtain from afar. Multiple copies would be optimal.
  7. Sec. Blinken cancels trip to China over 'brazen' spy balloon Just a weather balloon that happened to be pushed off course and directly over US nuclear missile silos. Nothing to see here. 8. A balloonist called in to the Clay-&-Buck show today. The Chinese thing is almost certainly a helium balloon. Nothing fast happens with balloons. If 3 golf-ball-sized holes are put in it, it'll descend with danger to those on land. This would spare the on-board equipment for inspection. The conclusion is that Bidementia should not be in Delaware as usual, but should be in the Situation Room with all his generals to determine what to do (bring or shoot it down). What clueless wimps.

  11. Let us refer you to a previous post on Beano, see man...
  12. Add this to the tension between enviro-whackos and animal-rights whackos when the former try to mass-slaughter ruminating ungulants because they fart.
  13. Maybe because Bidementia has been wrong on every foreign-policy decision for 40 years?
  14. If it happens to you, it happens to the Mods, and we'll contact Captain Ewok (ve haff vays).

  16. Battle of the Activists: Dead Whales on the East Coast Likely Due to Wind Turbine Farms [...] whales are dying in unusual numbers on the beaches of New York and New Jersey, apparently from sound devastation caused by construction of offshore turbine farms. It's pitting the climate crowd against the environmentalists, and while you might assume they're the same people, sometimes their interests diverge. 17. Wives, damned ex-wives, poorhouse. The shortest sentence in the English language is "I am." The longest sentence is "I do."
  18. And (sound of teeth gritting), to my knowledge, there's no ICD-10 code for "vaccine injury."
