Good morning All,
I'm kindly following up with this humanitarian reinstatement issue that I posted a few yrs ago and I need some advice on how to move forward.
Here's the timeline:
My father filed for my brother back in December 2017
He got approved in Sept 2020
Father passed away in November 2020
My mom filed for humanitarian reinstatement on behalf of my brother in December 2020 - soon after I realized that my mom wasn't supposed to do it and it was supposed to be filed by my brother. I'm aware we made a mistake there on our end.
My brother was here on visitation in the USA - He sent a written letter to USCIS for a status update on his HR. His letter was returned back within a week.
We received a revoke notice from USCIS last wk advising that the request has been revoked and that my brother has to request it or get represented.
Question: Can my mom obtain a lawyer to assist with this HR process in the USA or does my brother have to get a lawyer in Guyana?
Please advise - thank you.
