  1. It says certificate of naturalization was issued. I also had a same day oath couple of hours after the interview so it was saying that I was placed in line for oath ceremony and didn't change like I said for a long time until I opened a different case as a citizen.
  2. I need to check but it also said case closed
  3. Mine showed that way for like a year or so. I think that if I didn't file a K1 visa for my husband it would have never updated it.
  4. Congratulations to you as well!
  5. You should be fine. It doesn't take very long. It would still be this year.
  6. Yes, my husband is also still waiting for his I751 and I believe that's the case with almost every one from November 2023. Many of us already applied for citizenship too because you should be able to apply for it since November 2024, 90 days earlier.
  7. Yes that's how I see it too. We never even thought about it, it seems natural in this case, cause at least one spouse has some ties abroad and normally they'll be spending some time there even without the spouse.
  8. A week apart? Even if it's for traveling and visiting family? Me and my husband have been together and been living together this whole time, however we were apart on 2 different occasions. I spent a month in Macedonia visiting my family while he stayed and worked here and another time we spent 3 weeks apart, him visiting his family in India and me mine in Macedonia again. So that would be a problem? I find it awkward that they would deny for something like that.
  9. Congratulations!🎉🥳
  10. Congratulations! 🎉🥳
  11. This yes. That's the only logical reason I can think of too. Security and even bigger: fraud.
  12. I didn't hear it. I realized that following this thread and from personal experience, as well as of others'.
  13. Thank you! I doubt that but you never know. I do realize they schedule faster nationals of certain countries. But it's fine we came this far that's all that matters. I hope you'll get yours soon too like some others. I'm glad it's moving faster in general than other forms. Good luck!
  14. It's interesting how they reuse years old biometrics for some and ask others to redo them within a year. My husband had biometrics done March this year for the I751 and had to do them again yesterday for the N400. Then status changed same day that it's being actively reviewed.
  15. I actually had my interview at the Seattle office over 5 years ago under the 5 year rule as well and it took 10 months because I moved from Utah to Washington and had to transfer my case at the Seattle office. I was scheduled for interview in Salt Lake City 8 months after filing and after I transferred it took additional 2 months in Seattle and oath ceremony was same day. I don't think it's that slow seemed like normal processing times back then.
  16. Just curious. What country are you from?
  17. Hello! Joining the thread today, after following it for the last couple of days, as we filed the citizenship application few hrs ago. We got the receipt number but nothing about reusing biometrics. We'll see if they update anything on that. Otherwise it's just another long wait (but hopefully not too long 😊).
  18. Yes that seems right. I follow that discussion as well so we can move on there. Thank you. Yes it does ask for passport stamps copies
  19. Btw what did you submit? Are photos of the applicant required?
  20. I think processing times for different forms have always been same throughout time regardless of the rulling party or who's president. I'm not into politics much but I can really see that it doesn't affect much legal immigration. Only slow down I've seen was during covid. I see no difference otherwise. My N400 was processed in 8 months 5 years ago when Trump was president and I see same estimate right now too. Asylum and I751 always take longer than most others
  21. Yes, it's exciting and it should be a shorter wait than I 751. We can also file starting today. Estimate wait time for Utah says about 8 months which is the same as when I was filing for myself 5 years ago in the same state. Hopefully it will stay that way.
