Hello,

I am trying to plan ahead and would like some advise on how best to go about getting a Social Security Card for my fiance after we are married.

I will obviously be filing an I-485 form and on that form, there is an option to have USCIS contact SSA and give you a SSN and card once the I-485 is approved.

Is the best/quickest way to do this? Am I better off applying for an SSN separately rather than stating I would like to apply for one through the I-485?

Hi,

I am a naturalized US citizen. I was naturalized under the age of 18 and thus I do not have a Certificate of Naturalization on hand.

I am wondering if a copy of my US passport will be enough when filing my petition for a K-1 visa?
