Hello, My grandmother whose only income is retirement from SS would like to sponsor her son for a green card. She has been an LPR since 2005 my uncle had a 10 year ban when he left the USA in 1997 for overstaying a B2 visa for 2 years. My mother is a USC and my grandfather is also an LPR. I know my mother could sponsor him,but then he is F4 instead of F2B. What kind of documentation will they need to file for his green card. We have my uncles passport used to enter the USA, we have his I9 form, we have proof of departure such as entering the EU in August of 1997. No issue with law enforcement here or world wide. Please I have no idea why they did not do this 19 years ago. Thanks!
