Hello everyone! Just curious if someone is on the same case as mine or has an idea to answer my concerns regarding my I130 application that I just submitted the other day . As I was recalling the information and documents I sent for I130 for my mom.
1. I noticed that my parents got married 4 years AFTER I was born. I submitted these documents: Me and Mom’s birth certificate, her marriage contract and certificate, her passport, my naturalization certificate, my passport, my marriage contract. Is that sufficient enough documents or is there any more documents I can add to help with my petition.
2. I attached mom’s passport, birth certificate and marriage contract in the part where “native languages” which I just realized it shouldn’t be. Am I gonna be in trouble for that?
3. I heard it takes longer than expected for the immigration process. Can mom apply for a tourist visa while waiting for I130 approval?
