Verrou reacted to Boiler in How long it takes?
By the time a newly filed F4 would be currently Trump would be 100 and change.
Now I am not a Doctor but would be very surprised.if he lived that long.
Comprehensive Immigration Reform has been talked about for as long as I can remember and nothing has happened
File and check in 20 years, see how it is going.

Verrou reacted to OldUser in K-1 Visa with Prenup
This is not the intention of K-1 visa. The idea is that you know for sure you're marrying the person before sponsoring them for visa.
People are not toys you can return to store within 90 day period. They're leaving their home, family, friends, jobs, everything they have to rely on you for some time until they can settle in new and totally different place which is USA.
It would be totally irresponsible and immoral to break somebody's life like this by betraying them in their most vulnerable moment.
Now, to the question...
Prenup does not waive your I-864 obligations to US government.

The moment you hired an attorney, just submit the G28 on the portal if possible. And also bring that form on the interview

Verrou got a reaction from OldUser in Grilled on tourist visa
im not trying to be rude here, and not harsh at all, but u sound so entitled, all i can read here is WHERE IS MY RIGHT AS A TOURIST? ( YOU HAVE NONE). all i read on ur long passage just list of things that doesnt mean anything to CBP. if u think u are entitled to have that right, u wont be on a visa tourist right now, u will be a LPR or USC.
u also wrote contradictive posts, 1 time u said u are not working at all, and the other post u said YOU WORK REMOTELY WHILE YOU ARE IN THE US SOIL. so which one? WORK IS WORK. REMOTE WORK, IN PERSON WORK ARE THE SAME. ITS WORK.
and before u said im so mean, no im not mean, im trying to open ur eyes. and yes, i've been on the office like u too, but i dont have that same expectation like you. i want to enter the US and only they can decide.i dont list any all my demand as a tourist just because I ALSO (like u) come from well background, very well educated, always have nice jobs, came from money and traveled to 32 countries, live in 3 countries SO FAR. it doesnt justify me to complain about GIVE ME MY RIGHT AS A TOURIST. again, u are a tourist and not citizen.
in the end of the day, can you say NO to all their questions? of course u can, it's not they gonna hurt you if u just stay quiet and refuse to answer any of their questions. but they also can refuse you, and nothing u can do. so what's it gonna be?

Verrou got a reaction from OldUser in Interview: binders, yay or nay?
original = put in the accordion with tab title
copy (to hand out to officer) = loose leaf paper with tab on the right hand side. clip with 1 jumbo paper.
when officer asked "is there any additional documents that u want to submit?". i handed out the whole stack of "copy" to her approx 500 pages ( before people comment it's overkill, its not in my case, so dont assume its overkill) and i tell her "pick whatever u need, u can see the tabs so u can just pull it out to make it easier". she keep flipping the pages made me super nervous. she asked my husband "who prep this?", my husband just nod his head toward me and said "she's the one with OCD" LOL. the officer said to me "nicely done!". in the end, when i asked, so is there anything that u want to hand out back to me? she said "i will take it all".
so to answer ur question : whichever method is game on, just make sure u dont fumble around, keep flipping because u cant remember where did u put the document. u can do whatever u want with 1 thing in mind : DO IT FAST AND PRECISE.
good luck

Verrou got a reaction from Dashinka in 751 denied twice. Got NTA and reappled 751.
do u have a chance to get i-751? perhaps - if u have tons of bonafide marriage evidence. the mind set here : overwhelmed them with great evidences and not just a bare minimum. think like this is ur very last chance to win ur case. u get i-751 approved, u can close ur case with immigration court with ur approval notice
dont waste ur money for n-400. get the i-751 approved first, then thing about n-400. u can file n-400 all u want but if i-751 not approved, u donate ur money to USCIS

Verrou reacted to JKLSemicolon in Bulky I-751 Application
We sent our ROC packet, with over 800 pages of evidence, lightly wrapped in plastic wrap in a box and without any fasteners, labels, etc. Each section was separated with a different colored cover sheet and we put footers on all pages that include both the section title and ”page [#] of [total]”.
Our reasoning was to make it as easy as possible to separate and scan without things getting mixed up.
As far as the question of quantity and quality, we went by the form instructions which state to “submit copies of as many documents as you can…to demonstrate the circumstances of the relationship from the date of the marriage to the present date”.

Verrou reacted to OldUser in Bulky I-751 Application
One doesn't cancel the other. USCIS asks for as much documents as possible in I-751 instructions. 2 years of banking statements from used joint accounts is quality, for example. Of course, evidence needs to be all encompassing. I'm sure OP's 3 inches of docs contain different forms of evidence.
I never seen anybody penalized for submitting too much good evidence. For submitting too little - we see it every day on VJ in forms of RFEs, NOIDs and denials.
-
Verrou reacted to OldUser in Bulky I-751 Application
There's nothing wrong with sending 2 years of banking statements. In fact, I-751 instructions ask for as much evidence as possible. This is relevant quality evidence. Hopefully, OP is not sending local bus schedules. In fact, somebody got RFE the other day for this exact reason - not providing enough bank statements.
To OP: why not just send it as a stack of paper in a box? It should work, if laid nicely. This would allow USCIS staff to scan this into the system quickly.

Verrou got a reaction from Demise in Help! Reentering the us as an LPR with an old removal order
depend on which ICE office? some maybe are willing to take the correspondency than the other. there's an acquaintance also in similar issue. but USCIS admin closed i-485 and tell them to deal with IJ. while the case in IJ also lost somehow ( this is around 2003 when people from muslim country have to report to ICE after 9/11) seems that person got NTA and in removal proceeding.
i agree with you, dont rock the boat if nothing can be done, stay put, dont look for trouble, in 3 years, naturalize and then can travel

Verrou got a reaction from Scott-Ilyn in Do I have to create a new USCIS account for a paper-filed case even though I already had the account?
its 50-50. some case it's link (like mine), some case it's not link(friends), have to request online code, when online code not working, means u have to create a new account. it's uscis, it's always 50-50 chance.

Verrou got a reaction from Dragonsarereal in Vaccine documents added after moving to the USA - do they need a Civil Servant or not? And more...
smaller cities has less civil surgeon hence they charge whatever they want, while big cities like NYC, LA, Chicago, hundreds of USCIS appointed civil surgeon that have competitive price. sometimes i think to drive further away to get cheaper price actually its not a bad idea (i drive electric, so gas price is not really an issue).
where i live at that time i need i-693 there are only 7 civil surgeon and the cheapest are almost $400 (almost 3 years ago) without any vaccines ( i have complete vaccines that's needed & i got it not because of i-693 requirement). now, it's down to 5 civil surgeons and the price is getting ridiculous and their office to be funny and said " u have to be our patients aka u have to get a primary care from our office" which is stupid since i have one and i don't want to switch just because i need to see civil surgeon.
while i did call almost 80 civil surgeons in NYC/NJ in 1 day, and their pricing is incredibly stupid cheap. i can even find civil surgeon in Flushing (local chinatown in Queens, NY) for $95 without vaccine at that time

Verrou reacted to J.M. in Vaccine documents added after moving to the USA - do they need a Civil Servant or not? And more...
Your post is a bit confusing, but the first thing to realize is that school requirements and immigration requirements are not the same. As mentioned above, if your DS-3025 is marked "complete" then there is a reasonable chance that you won't need anything else to satisfy USCIS.
As for the school vaccines, that is what is confusing. First, I think you mean your daughter got Td, not Tdap, since Tdap includes pertussis. Why she would have gotten just Td is a mystery. I am also confused why the pharmacist thinks it is a problem to give a Tdap dose, since the recommended interval for dose 1 to dose 2 is only 4 weeks, and dose 2 to 3 is 6 months. I went through getting K-2 kids vaxxed for school a few years ago. We just took our DS-3025 (a copy of course) and had them add the new vaccines to that so they would all be listed together. As for chicken pox, I think your choices will be getting the vaccine or getting a titer to prove immunity. Nobody should be looking at pictures to confirm chicken pox history.

Verrou got a reaction from Redro in VISA process is driving me bananas
have to use big bold letter with underline and stated "BIRTH CERTIFICATED IS BILINGUAL ( ENGLISH & IRISH) on the cover letter, and on the index tab attachment/explanation. i heard a few horror story about the problem that u (might) encounter even though the birth certificate is indeed in english and xxx language in 1 single document.
many of people that i helped lost their original birth certificate when they were born. they got new online replacement but now it has additional english language on the same document. never had an issue when i typed it BILINGUAL on bold, no RFE. etc.
i always try to think that USCIS are like 5 years old kid, what is clear to me maybe its not clear with them because they deal with many2 variation of birth certificate all around the world. so we cant assume that "they supposed" to know even though they should.

so far 5 people i helped without an issue. lol !
and yes, it's only $27/page to pay if wanna be extra cautious. i refused to let them pay for something thats so obvious. and when i typed BILINGUAL i always added : SWAHILI AND ENGLISH TRANSLATION for example
