  1. Did you send the divorce judgment to the same place where you sent your initial package ? have you try to submit the Same exact thing in pdf file and upload it to your I-751 account ?
  2. did you write a letter to explain ? or just receipt notice + the divorce judgment?
  3. tax transcript showed u actually filed for tax past years. so u can choose EITHER : IRS tax transcript OR 1040 / 1099 + W2 for current income : u need to show something/anything other than tax transcript ( past income tax) because ur tax transcript is not equal your current income. who knows there's life changing situation like loosing job, retire, etc etc. to show current income : it can be employer verification letter ( if u work for a company), paystubs, retirement verification letter ( if you have income from the retirement) etc etc.
  4. i saw it more often in 2021-2022 filers. not so much for 2023-2024 because i think USCIS finally figure it out and just closed the i-129F/ or merge it with i-130. can always try, just dont put much high hope
  5. travelled for 3 months in europe before continue to the states. i said i take 1 year vacation total and wanted to travel to as much countries as possible and it's "red flag" for them. they assumed im poor, no saving, and there's no way i can live without work for a long time ( i actually can). they put me in secondary office one time because i flew from iceland instead of my home country.they asked my bank account statements, return ticket, how much cash i had. here's their questions and my response : 1. why ur bank statement is not up to date and it's 3 months old? --- "duh, because ive been travelling in europe for 3 months and i dont have online statements (back then)" 2. why you only bring $500 cash ? ---"duh because im a solo traveller and i dont want to get robbed?" prcoeed by showing them 3 credit cards that i can pay online 3. where's ur return ticket? --- "here" 4. how you fund ur trip without working? - "i have a lot of saving as you can see on my bank statement, that will last 10 years without working" and i even offered " you can use ur currency calculator if u want to convert to USD". my account is active, so its not just dormant. i was so quick because i prepped everything in 1 folder and very organized, he cant even think of more questions to ask 4. give me ur phone, unlocked it --- " here, the phone is unlocked " all he saw 10,000 photos of landmark, and food because i like to eat. he brought my phone to his office for 10 mnts, he got back with my phone and passport stamped. " you're free to go" adios that's the only time it happened to me. i entered US multiple times, never have to go secondary. usually they just said " enjoy ur stay" and not even a single question. all that being said, different officer different location, different situation. bring everything that u need just in case. it never hurt to be prepare.
  6. i didnt say anything about choice. told OP need to disclosed it, english is not my first language
  7. does she have advance parole ? did you apply for her last year with AOS package? for the medical, do u send it to service center or field office? (usually) if you send it to field office there's possibility it will be process faster. where is the field office? no fix timeset for RFE process unfortunately. whats the plan if she receive her GC? how long school in london? u might need to apply reentry permit? but theres for another time once she receive her GC look at the possibility ( just information) if she can push back her start date by 6 months or a year at the school. always good to know now and decide which best route to navigate
  8. yes all through n-400 form. if ur question : what name should i put as petitioner? i will follow ur name on the greencard. your pinoy passport name is irrelevant, but u can put that passport name in the box ( if theres box for that) :"what other name that u used". and if u want to change ur name tp completely a brand new name, u can too ( i hope thats not ur question because i dont think we should choose ur new name for u). its up to u
  9. no issue. just mentioned all ur names and what name that u prefer. many people in your shoes, passport with A and the US stuffs with B. and middle name usually is initial anyway in the US. u can get a completely new name for example : GAGA MADONNA CAREY ( first, middle, last name) if you want when you apply for ur citizenship. the sky is your limit
  10. what im trying to say, if they dont response in 1 year, highly doubt it it's gonna clear up there's someone who has same issue, 5 years (!) and no solution i guess i just have to suck it up and let it go. all stupid fee they cant even upgrade their stupid system
  11. i wont create a new account, thats why i go to all this trouble. yesterday my field office response my e-service request by stated we sending u letter, if you dont respond, we are going to denied ur application. WTH ! lol they already approved my GC last year. i was wondering how the heck emma, field office interpret my request 180 degrees from my real request and just response whatever . i called and chat emma, no dice LOL 😂 planning ahead n-400, u know me (OCD)
  12. blah...last year's the congressperson completely ghosted me 😅 let me try again
  13. bring everything that show their ties with their home country. do not give it to IO without asking. i brought the whole house, offered and IO got pissed at me and said " dont give me anything if i didnt ask" yes sir ! they already reviewed that DS-160 and usually just want to confirm the answers. so make sure they understand the DS-160 information. its their own anyway. i said it hundred times, invitation letter is useless but even few of my friends fought me on that one and they said their mother, father, granpa, grandma, neighbour got their tourist visa because of the USC/GC holder wrote invitation letter. and what you said its correct. dont blab too much and dont do story telling in front of IO. they can ask anything they want. can be about the trip, family, etc good luck
  14. i messaged USCIS from USCIS website about my i-131 and i-485. they never responded / answered. a month later i already received my GC ( obviously not because my message), i can unstucked this issue. i called emma i chat emma i did e-service requests they all didn't answer my questions/requests to unstuck it and just give stupid automated response that didnt make sense and closed my service request and told me to call emma ( LOL) . even technical issue said " this is not our department problem, bye" <-- before someone nitpicked my sentence, i just paraphrased and english is not my 1st language even though i speak 3 languages (hah!) I'm not gonna create a new account because it useless, i only have 1 phone number and USCIS wont allowed me to create a new my uscis account because they know its the same phone number perhaps someone had similar issue and got it fix? thank you !
  15. taking the test its not a choice. its mandatory. written and driving test. it super super easy
  16. Ignored it. It’s not correct and just based on average. Roughly about 12 months for I-130 approval and then you will have to deal with NVC before consulate interview
  17. service request uscis https://egov.uscis.gov/e-request/Intro.do
  18. if shes doing consular processing, only need to file i-130. what do you mean when u said push back?
  19. Buy from the home country. Thats what I did 😂 I have similar issue but for “bolster” and not pillow. And turned out I got the wrong one, my friend who sell this kind of thing back home told me to go to craft store and bought filler, I did it, stuff inside and perfecto
  20. no problem especially if you dont have any pending case my friend just filed AR-11 2 weeks ago and she also didnt get confirmation email
  21. I filed RFE 485 for another person received on 12/19/23. Crickets
  22. Bottom line just try to file as fast as u can along with bonafide evidences. In the mean time, avoid border check (if you live within 50 miles) and yes it’s forgiven in the end if you file I-485 and got approved. Also u also under cover when I-485 still pending
  23. There’s always a risk. I just don’t know the extend of percentage of it. And overstay (not illegally since you came with Esta) is forgiven when you married US citizen. once you overstay, your ESTA most likely gone forever. And you have to think about : 1. You can’t work 2. you can’t leave US 3. you can’t drive for a while until you get ur EAD/AP (at least) something to think about. Everyone has different priorities. can’t tell you if it’s worth it to overstay or not because I’m not you.
  24. wait till you have your marriage certificate (not license) in hand + some joint evidences to avoid RFE for example : 3 months bank statements + added in insurance if possible. There’s more list of bonafide marriage evidence. I personally rather filed once in 1 go with great evidences than send it with bare minimum I’m not clear about EAD question. You can only file for EAD if you file for I-485
