  1. there's no conditional green card for family member beside spouse.
  2. please bring ur USC spouse. i know it doesnt list so to bring ur spouse on the letter, but if its under 3 years rule, bring ur spouse. last may 2022 my friend got the interview in jacksonville, FL. friend USC husband is military and stationed in korea. he didnt come with her, she brought his paperwork that showed he was stationed in korea. the check in person wont let her in no matter how much she begged and cried.. if its not because an office came out, heard what happened and let her in, there's no way she can get in. this is because the officer was a military who was stationed in korea so he understood.
  3. get info pass appointment to get adit stamp on his passport at the field office. just to make sure they paid the card fee correct? changing status to what status? usually if through brother he should get 10 years GC. can call uscis to inquiry the issue aswell
  4. if i remembered u can take the first dose and submitted the medical with the promise u going to finish 2nd and 3rd dose. so u dont have to wait until the series is completed. talk with ur civic surgeon, i bet u, u are not the only one with that issue. whats the reason a person doesnt want to get vaccinated for hepatitis B? " i just dont want it" is not strong enough to be exempt.
  5. if he already got his visa, that means the embassy already ok with his medical. i assumed he already got 2 shots of moderna? that's all he need
  6. If she’s already in the US right now, why don’t u do AOS instead? Depend on ur luck, 2022 filers got processed very quickly. The downside obviously she can’t leave the country while AOS pending except if she got her advanced parole
  7. They have issue this past few weeks regarding on card production. Major delays
  8. You are encourage to file married jointly. It shouldn’t be an issue. This is DIY site you can check on the forums and read AOS from K1 section. There’s pin 📍 posts
  9. It will take years for you to get citizenship even from marriage. You need greencard first. And to answer ur question, yes it might or will raised questions from USCIS ( not me ). In the eye of USCIS it might look like u are greencard shopping. If you can’t afford a lawyer, how bout ur husband ? If he is going to petition for u, he need to have certain minimum set of income otherwise he will need joint sponsor. May I ask u why u haven’t filed yet since u said u are married 2 years ago ? As u know the asylum and U visa result will take forever, u might get better chance with marriage case. And if u really can’t afford lawyer try to reach out to legal clinic in ur area. Usually they might help if you really have low income
  10. chat or call live agent and ask the live agent, if they dont give helpful answer, ask tier 2 to call you back
  11. when we got married, both of us have no jobs due to covid's layoff. lawyer suggested to wait to file until my spouse the petitioner got a job. the month he started working, we immediately filed. we had no issue with 3 years tax return at that time. current income is king. and also, u definitely need joint sponsor.
  12. The more evidences that you can give the better it is. Quality over quantity. You can shows boarding passes, hotel reservations for example to show how many times u’ve met. It’s understandable not to have joint assets yet. if u lived together how bout joint bank account / credit card, lease / rent agreeement etc
  13. it can be combo card or it can be separated. the EAD will be in a card shape and the AP will be on a piece of paper. normally if his AP already on hand, the EAD will be just EAD and not combo it supposed to be just 1 original AP letter it doesnt matter really, once he got his AP in any form, he can travel outside US
  14. Yes if it’s make sense cost wise to send it overseas. Or u just did another medical.
  15. ask ur civic surgeon to resign new form. i know some civic surgeon might charged small percentage of the fee just to resign
  16. yeah i tried various methods. it doesnt matter, u can corrected with black pen. i filed many i-864 that way never got RFE
  17. just scratch the 1 and write the number with black pen. i think if i remember i have similar issue.
  18. CR1 all the way. to enter US to visit while spouse visa is pending is at CBP description. IMHO if she keep her US visit short and not dragging for months, usually CBP is quite lenient
  19. joint credit card statement, joint checking account statement, car title, etc. anything that has both of ur name, utility bills, cell phone statement
  20. does ur asylum case pending with USCIS ? if yes, i know almost all lawyers always recommend to have both case on going until u got the GC from marriage before u closed your asylum case. that is " just in case" scenario if the marriage fall apart, u still have asylum case to cover ur situation
