sorry about your situation. to answer ur question : Was their reason a valid one? Is it a viable enough reason to deny an urgent emergency advance parole request? it's hit or missed. there's no exact /fix answer to this question. i really think sometimes depend on the person that u met. does ur reason valid? absolutely. i know many people who filed for emergency got rejected and USCIS didnt even ask for extra evidence. they just said DENIED and goodbye. i was in removal proceeding. after its terminated, i filed for stand alone AP ( can only do after proceeding terminated) while my i-485 still admin closed. many people said i cant file AP if i-485 still admin closed. i didnt listen to them because what i have to lose? they received on 2/27, on 3/2 i got email that stated my biometric reused, i called them and requested expedite request due to humanitarian reason, my mother is ill and i want to see her in 3rd country where she's going to get medical help. they sent email on 3/6 something about " ur expedite request is under reviewed", the next day 3/7 AP approved ( total 8 days from filing) while my i-485 admin closed. i havent even received the AP yet because USCIS has issue with production of GC, EAD, etc. i might cant leave even when i got my AP because my immigration history just in case they wont parole me back to USA. now i dont know how urgent u need to go, have u try to expedite request ? not emergency request in FO. perhaps maybe u got better shot.

OP the 70 lawyers that i mentioned above, happen to be in boston, cambridge area. let me know if u need suggestion, im not clear if the 2 name of the lawyer that u mentioned are in Massachusetts or just same name different town

its like finding spouse or girlfriend/boyfriend. it really depend how u get along as well with the lawyer. that's why theres million lawyers out there. happened to me couple months ago when i had issue with my current lawyer ( he took the money and ghosted me when i have questions ) and looking for new lawyer. cold call 70 lawyers, from the call/email, i got few appointment with different lawyer. but i already know 90% what i want and how i want it to move forward, i educate myself for 2,5 years at that time so i know quite a bit. when i met the lawyer i didnt tell them i want this i want that, they talked and i listen. i choose the one that has similar "way" with my view. so educate yourself is very important. there's plenty crooked lawyer out there.

i dont know about PH, but in Indonesia, a child can have dual citizenship/passport until 21 yo and then have to choose one. in 2018 my friend got custody battle with her husband. both of wife & husband overstay their visa for 20 years, dont have any status in USA. they are married with 2 kids. both kids born in US and are US citizen. they have 2 passport ( USA and Indonesia ) because they are not 21 yet. she asked the judge to hold his passport, and the judge did. u know what happened? the husband took their kids back to Indonesia. how? he just reported that his passport is "missing/stolen" to indonesian consulate in NY and the consulate give travel document to him without question. obviously the mother is flabbergasted. so is it legal? of course not. but can it happened? it did happen. guess OP have to cover all ground just in case

im sorry it happened to you. angry spouse sometimes acting up like crazy person. he can't cancel ur i-751 since its u who filed it and not him. and he cant "send u back to your country". what he can do is if u have i-751 interview that u need to attend, he can refuse to come with you. if it happened, yes technically ur i-751 wont be approved. get a divorce certificate and filed a new i-751 with divorce waiver. do it now, just in case ur i-751 got approved without interview u will have issue in the future if it got approved and u already divorced/separated. as u work and paying tax in USA is unrelated with ur i-751. everybody need to pay tax if the work here in US

there's none. same like when people said " you have to have XXX amount of money in ur bank account for 3 months" its a myth. strong ties with ur home country is always better evidences

this is such a great news. my field office is such a drag for info pass apppointment in general. while tier 2 can give info pass appointment for 1-2 days after called, i got it 2 weeks later.

go to ur civic surgeon and ask for them to resign in a new form. sometimes they will charge small amount of $$$ instead of doing the whole package. cant win with USCIS. make sure u got the hep B vaccine if u havent back in may 2022

yes combo. the interview letter doesnt say combo, but it doesnt matter, why do u want to risk it right? ur n4-00 cant be approved if i-751 is not approved
