  12. 1. 180 days before expire date 2. probably, just in case there’s gonna be biometric appointment 3. Can be 3 months- 2 years. There’s no fixed timeline. But the receipt letter will have automatic extension 4. Sure can
  13. sorry it happened to you. i understand it can be frustating. but dealing with USCIS, consulate, embassy during immigration journey sometimes arent easy. i learned to just give what they want because we need the visa
  14. 1. That’s when u got ur GC, the rule of thumb for I-131 is for “emergency” travel. 2. Not renewed automatically. The moment u got approved u want to go back to US immediately there’s no such thing as I-131 automatically approved As LPR u need to be in US at least 183 days/year. If u wanna be citizen, u have to adere that rule. If u don’t want to be citizen, then u can stay longer outside US but no more than 1 year
  15. technically ur parents have to apply for themself. US consulate never really weighed "sponsor" or "invite" too much contrary to what people believed. they just need to show "strong ties" with their home country ( investments + properties)
  16. i helped 10 people filed i-485 no issue. they all got their GC.
  17. i only carry driving license. not going to carry GC and if i lost it its very costly + probably take years to get the replacement. i scanned the GC and save it on my dropbox/phone your EAD is dead once u got GC, better dont use ur EAD at all
  18. did u file as joint sponsor? i mean if u dont want to be listed as joint sponsor, i guess u can withdraw ur i-864
  19. its okay to just use black and white. when they scanned everything will be black and white anyway. i helped people filing i-751 with BW ink and no issue
  20. boarding pass is a strong evidence, just wait till u got RFE
  21. first im sorry it happened to you. is she still in hospital now? or she's out of hospital? if she's out, is it possible for her to at least attend the interview? if yes, just come to the interview first
  22. when i helped my friend filed n-400 last year, she didnt submit any of boarding pass because she has none ( she didnt keep it). literally what she filed on the online form : country - date in - date out - total days. that's all and she went to many many countries after she got her GC. she also filed under 3 years rule. just bring both passport.
