  1. @INFneed to see the top part of the letter, just blur ur info. the top part is the most important one. i had 2 letters, before and after and the difference is at the top one EDIT : never mind, no need to post another photo. that's the 2nd letter that i got. u should be good
  2. probably this week. already got the letter from local SSA office that said " this letter is a receipt" and wait for ur SSN card in 2 weeks. letter dated same day when my case status changed. i know usually the card itself printed in their HQ in maryland.
  3. i assume it's for consular processing? do u do consular processing in ur home country? usually u need to show the vaccination record to the appointment doctor on approved list in that country they will know what to do. unless u are not in italy right now because i see the ur country is netherland
  4. No dismiss whatsoever on the order. Motion to terminate proceeding granted. That’s it
  5. Motion to terminate proceeding. ( that’s the exact word, no without prejudice ) similar with @Demise sans motion to dismiss. Filed PD twice to OPLA Boston and went black hole. OPLA gone AWOL and never responded. Call, email they ignored all. Saw that Coronado Acevedo on Nov and chased my lawyer for 6 weeks straight before he responded. File motion to terminate proceeding directly to the court on Christmas Eve and got approved Jan 17. Judge is not even in Boston, he’s in Virginia (WebEx) and yeah dismiss = usually joint with ICE, terminate = court. It doesn’t really matter really. Case closed forever
  6. U can use G-1450. Make sure to call the bank and let them now there’s gonna be transaction $1,225 soon. Sometimes G-1450 bounced back. I personally prefer personal cheque
  7. those 2are unrelated. it really depend how busy is ur field office who process the i-485 u dont need i-130 biometric since it filed by the petitioner and not the beneficiary
  8. You can. Only to the extend look what is the case status said. Can’t do much. Either “returned to agency” or “case under review”
  9. in my understanding photos are weak when we submitted in the initial package but during interview based on my experience and reports from bunch of my friends, 99% IO loveeeed photos friend got interview in Feb 2023 and didnt bring any wedding picture because she already submitted it in the initial package, but the officer who interviewed asked where's the photo, so my friend show the wedding pics from her cell phones
  10. when u said you applied for SSN, did you go to SSA office ? if yes, what date is that? in SAVE check website, u said the status said "returned to agency", when is the date of the case check? is it the same day when u went to SSA office? has the status ever change to "case under review" ever ? or you never check at all on SAVE check periodically? depend on ur answer, if your case has been "case under review" for a while and it changed to "returned to agency" recently u might get ur SSN in a week. but sometimes SSA office cant do that automatically so u have to call their local SSA office ( not the national SSA number ) and ask them to "verified" 1 more time to finalize the whole process. this happened to me, my "case under review" for almost 2 months before change to "returned to agency" few days ago. they said they are going to send the card and i should received it soon now if you dont know if ur case status ever been "case under review" at all and the date of the case check = the day u went there, u need to call them and ask them
  11. Common in my country. I will leave it blank to avoid any issue following the birth certificate / passport. So many variation “no name given” “FNU” etc. for example : friend did consular processing, her name in passport just 1 name. But on the immigrant visa it stated “BLABLA FNU”, US visa can’t have single name. So it’s automatic added that FNU. already there’s discrepancy. And when she made state ID, it become “BLABLA No name given” literally that’s on her state ID are u guys doing AOS or Consular processing ? If AOS and u already got married, my suggestion add ur last name on her AOS application. The marriage certificate will be the legal document for that. I helped couple of people with same issue during AOS, easier in the future for them to do anything in the US with last name. So now at least 3 friends without last name now all their documentation in the US had last name on it and only their home country passport is different “ one name “ and file I-130 paper instead so u can leave the surname blank if it’s consular processing
  12. chat / call uscis : first question say " info pass" second question say "live agent" you will bypass bot that way
  13. lol the day i got my GC husband nagged me to apply for NEXUS $50/5 years on the same day which i did. with nexus he can use global entry if there's kiosk to use and also got TSA pre check. wait time 12-14 months. and cant apply for Global entry while NEXUS is pending. global entry wait time about 6-8 months too SMH
  14. that usually my go to advise unless directed otherwise, stay as a unit, USC can stay in non USC line but dont try the other way around to avoid issue, unless of course some agent told non USC can go to USC line. not to hijack OP post, what about if husband have global entry and we are coming back to the US by air? knowing him, he probably want to use the kiosk and collect the bag while im waiting in "peasant" line. should we stick together? i really dont think it necessary since we are coming back anyway. any thought?
  15. i never include the back of DL. i dont think its a bad idea at all. submit the back of the card whatever to show USCIS that u guys live in the same address will do
  16. u focusing on the signature but the signature is not the only reason they sent u NOID. there's a lot reasons based on what u posted. to answer ur question : yes.if its taco bell credit card receipt that i need to sign and not just random receipt that has no weight, i always have same signature. in fact i only have 1 signature since the day i was born and never changed it
  17. thanks for pointing out @Mike E i was thinking there's no way there's another couple from Korea LOL now i know ur handle @Redro LOL
  18. there's many since 2022. 2 of people i knew got their EAD approved literally an hour after they left for the biometric appointment
  19. update : today 6/6 finally SAVE check status changed to "returned to agency" after being "case under review" since 4/17 ( even though i went to SSA office on 4/10). took 2 months for DHS / USCIS to verify this issue. super mad ! i even reached out to ombudsman early may and after back and forth, ombudsman responded on 5/31 that DHS said its within time frame and probably case will be processed within 14 business day. i immediately called SSA office today and as we speak, they said " it literally just verified now". they said i should received the card within a week timeline to get unrestricted SSN card : 4/1 GC approved 4/8 GC in hand 4/10 went to SSA office and they said have to wait for DHS to verify. SAVE check "returned to agency" when they did the check while i was there 4/17 SAVE check changed to " case under review" 6/6 SAVE check changed to "returned to agency" after almost 2 months as for Real ID DL at DMV 4/28 i made sure i waited longer time, but yet, when i was in DMV it SAVE check still pending 5/31 called and they said DL is being printed. SAVE check for DMV never changed since 4/28 " case returned to agency" when i was there 6/5 called again to double check and they said DL card has printed just wait the mail. i was in touch with someone that has similar issue even though she got her GC back in 2022 and never bothered to go to SSA office till April 2023 ( only few days before me ) and she reported that her SAVE check finally changed to "returned to agency" on 5/31/23. we literally a week apart on the last leg of the verification. my take is : it doesnt matter how long u wait, 10 days, 10 business days, 1 month or even few month to go to SSA office to get ur SSN card. DHS supposed to updated our status on SAVE check but they missed a bunch of people and we wont know until we go there.
  20. look on reddit. many people reported almost on daily basis. but like i said, the amount of people who posted it probably small amount of real number.
  21. in 2018 someone i know came with B1/B2 visa, stayed in FL and didnt think or just follow whatever other people told him, with i-94 still active he applied DL and he got that DL believe it or not. once his i-94 expired, ICE chased him through phone calls. dont know whats going on because he never got detained or anything after that. seems after that this person applied for asylum. all i know is he is still in florida right now, have EAD from asylum and definitely has DL. what i'm saying is, unless the rule has change, seems people can apply with i-94 still active even though they came with B1/B2 visa but the DL expired on the day i-94 ended. side note : that someone is not me just in case people wonder as for EAD : OP...the trend is either u got the EAD approved the same day after u do biometric or u wait for months. that's the 2 trends that's been happening since 2022. no idea how USCIS pick and choose which one who got it in a month and the rest have to wait.
  22. if u checked the box, they should come. wait 7 days after ur EAD received, then go to SSA office if SSN card not showing up
  23. if it were me i will send it by mail. attached both RFE in 1 envelope along with the requested evidences
  24. We have same issue. She and I. Exact Same thing. She got her GC last year and I got my GC early April 23. On her case, the SSA office actually took her restricted card and shredded it and said “ wait for ur new card” and then turned out they sent the letter (that I also received but at the office ) stated we need more time because DHS can’t verify the change of status. She and I coincidentally went to SSA office just few days apart. Note I don’t know this person, she’s in NYC
