  1. the question is what name do you want? remember there's limitation of the number of character on the GC card. if your full name is too long, they definitely will shorten out part of the name. now which part? that's the part that is questionable. since you have 2 maiden + 1 married that you want to put in last name box instead of splitting it to middle name box. i remembered someone post on some forum ( cant remember where) that their name got cut out on the actual GC ( not on the receipt letter) because they have super long name like total 30 characters. i dont know how they fixed the issue, but as u probably should know, anything that u need to "fix" with USCIS might take months or years. FYI. my first name : 7 letters, my middle name : 4 letters, my last name : 10 letters. total = 21 characters. USCIS automatically shorten my middle name to just 1 letter ( the initial) even though my middle name is not even that long even when it combine with the first name. because on the actual GC or EAD, there's no middle name assign box. this is the example of the arrangement on the actual card it self : surname : 10 letters Given name : first name ( 7 letters) and then middle name initial ( 1 letter) IMO if ur surname is like this : Madonna Louise Ciccone ( 2 maiden name + 1 married name) there's possibility its too long to fit in the card. perhaps other can chime in on this one. hope it make sense
  2. after paid the fee and file the form, she can keep checking for appointment. sometimes people cancelled the appointment so the slot is open. just need to do it regularly ( checking the dates)
  3. i use acrobat to type it. after that i will reprint to check. if there's mistake, i will correct the mistake and reprint again. sometimes if i cant fix it with PC, i use black pen and just write it.
  4. most of the time, USCIS will shorten the middle name and just put the first letter of of the middle name in EAD & GC. happened to me even though when i filled up the forms i always write my middle name fully. to answer ur question : just put her maiden name as middle name and add the married name for surname.
  5. 2. that's an abuse of B1/B2 visa. she supposed to wait outside US. if she wants to make short visit like 1-2 weeks and leave US its fine. there's big possibility they (CBP) will deny her entry. i wont even answer question no.1 because of your question no. 2
  6. i will add EMPLOYER VERIFICATION LETTER. u will need to ask the HR for that. say "blablabla" working here as "blablabla" and annual income at $100,0000/year for example. 6 month paystubs + bank account statement, only meant proof of payment. you need proof of income, therefore employer verification letter. if you think u need joint sponsor, then find a joint sponsor. i cant tell you how many in household because ur joint sponsor might have more than 2-3 people in his household. if i were you, i will resubmit all i-864 with or without joint sponsor. better cover all base
  7. https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/forms/i-485instr.pdf meant to attach this instead the checklist
  8. the one in the circle = the beneficiary = who filed for i-485 it's your application, so i dont know why do u want to put ur ex name on that area that your circle. it's just to let USCIS know that additional information page is yours. if you need more lines/space, just make the font slightly smaller so all can fit item box = so USCIS know, ur additional info is for what page number , what part number, and item number. did you follow this checklist ? please read the checklist thorough so you can fill up the form https://www.uscis.gov/forms/filing-guidance/checklist-of-required-initial-evidence-for-form-i-485-for-informational-purposes-only
  9. im a bit confused with ur post. u said u had criminal damage offense. did it happen in the US? because it seems u are worried to get fingerprinted at the US airport and will connected to ur old visa. anyway, CBP can ask any question they want. just be honest and dont lie. noone can answer ur question about what question CBP will ask.
  10. as long as you get the ADIT stamp on ur passport when u enter USA. ADIT stamp is equal green card. it valid for 1 year. remember that as LPR u need to reside in the US at least 183 days / year. make sure to pay ELIS fee $220 before u enter US for the first time with ur immigrant visa. so they will send the plastic GC to ur US address
  11. did you have ESTA back when u applied for tourist visa? normally when people have ESTA they dont apply for tourist visa unless they want to stay in the US longer than max 90 days of ESTA waiver. if you never been arrested etc, i dont know why you worried about this?
  12. Location will be the closest local field office where u lived back. just put ur ex wife current name ( if you know )
  13. I will just redo the medical and send it to them. Check on the RFE letter where do you have to send the package ? If it’s from field office, great news, 90% they usually waive the interview. If it’s from service center, once they receive ur RFE package, ur case will be queue / in line for field office adjudication ( you can / May get interview or interview waived ) moral story : i always think it’s best to provide what USCIS want ( as long as it’s not their “mistakes” ) then fight with them
  14. i understand, just wanted to let OP know to stick with name on passport. i realized my wording is off. some airlines outside USA sometimes give hard time when the person booked the ticket with married name on GC that doesnt match the maiden name on passport. i know some of my friend has this issue and was forced to pay "changing name fee" otherwise they cant fly back to the US. and i agree, the moment that person landed in the USA from wherever they coming for, showing GC is more than enough. i did all the time and they didnt bother to ask for my passport. but i cant stretch you how many times i told this ( just show ur GC only and not passport) to many many LPR friends and they always said " im afraid" or "scared" ( dont know what they scared of really).
  15. file AR-11 ( beneficiary) online now and update with the current address and also file i-865 ( petitioner ) by mail as well
  16. the legal travel document is passport and not the greencard, therefore everytime you booked any airline ticket it should follow your name on the passport. any discrepancy on the name can be solve by carrying the marriage certificate
  17. probably. what im saying no one will know until he see the doctor.
  18. u will never know until he see the doctor. probably about the bloodwork results. that's all i can think of
  19. dont reschedule. just come and they will give your RFE for medical and wont approve ur K1 until medical accepted
