I applied for AOS while waiting for my SSN to be issued. At the interview I told them I got my SSN if they needed to update it in the system but they really didn't need it. 
The AOS form ask if the SSA ever issued a SSN the answer was no so no need to insert the SSN and following they are asking if you want the SSA to issue one and you can just say no (that's what i did).

we had our interview almost 2 weeks ago. We prepared a lot of documentation but we didn't need much.
The officer looked for the medical (thankfully was in the packed but I had with me the copy of the original just in case).
We were approved on the spot but the status changed online only the day after.
Received the card in the mail about a week after the interview.

I got the same RFE and I just uploaded the same again online as a response on the same day.I have the same field office as you....just got my biometric appointments on 16th November after getting RFE.

Hey! you should be able to go to the local courthouse and get married there. they should give you the marriage certificate and even certified copies before you walk away.

Legal Alien Allowed to Work.  Technically, as a K1 entrant, you can apply for an EAD upon arrival, of course no one does that as it takes more than 90 days to get an EAD, so it is not practical.

no. they will email the us citizen with packet 3 and the instructions on documents to collect and instruct you to do the ds-160 and then book the interview.

I received my visa package today which contained my passport with the Visa page, a large DO NOT OPEN envelope and a piece of paper informing me how to adjust status once married. is this all the correct documentation? I'm at the london embassy. 

Oh yes this does work, it seems i was putting in the DOB incorrectly, they want the month name

Hi there! This is what we did quick, easy and quite cheap. I went to take a pic at photographer and got the full quality digital image on a usb drive (be careful about the dimensions because US have different standards compared to many other countries). I saved the pic on a shared folder that we used to collect most of the documentation we needed (dropbox). My fiancé then printed the pic at the store where he get his own done.   

Aaahhhhh!!!! Approved today!!!!! Filed 6-15-2020! 

After a nearly eight month wait, we received our NOA2 today! 🎉✨ ❤️ Congratulations to all recent approvals!  Let's hope the rest follow soon!
