@Sandra G. @Demise I need an insight, I got an update on case tracker thinking it was for pending 1-90 based on error made by USCIS on my child greencard but I got the shocked of my life when I got a revoked uodate on the child EAD C09 two years ago. The EAD will expired next month. I dont know the reason for the revoked. What could be issue?

This might not be the right group to ask this questions, we got our green cards 6months ago through vawa but my child greencard had name error , we file for correction, still pending other benefits like EAD and travel document have been canceled when we got approved but now my child doesn't have anything to show that he is legal except for the copy of the greencard with name error. I dont know how true its is,that starting from January ICE will be picking up kids with no document from schools. Someone forwarded the news to my inbox this morning and that got me thinking what I can do pending the time we get the correct card.

This happens to me, I think they wish to approve you initially without interview but alot of information like address,divorce if any after you filled,job changes and so on need to be corrected and that can be done during your in person interview.

Hello, Has anyone travel to Canada with greencard in married name and the passport on maiden name? The last name on greencard is my Ex and the last name on my passport is my father's name. I was told I only need my marriage certificate to show to them. Thank you.

Has anybody travel to Nigeriq with an ADIT stamp what the experience like? Original green card was destroyed BY USCIS because it has a typographical error on the name. ADiT stamp is given but I dont want to have any problem getting back in.

Hello, I sent form 1-90 for replacement of green card due to typographical made by USCIS officer to my surprise I got biometric appointment and a new receipt number and online Access code. I thought , they are going to replace the card without all these again. As anybody experience this before? Any insight about how this work?

Interview April 18, approved same day and Card in hand May 1st.

Finally, I recieved our green card tonight Hallelujah! Glory be to God. My child name was not properly written, a Y letter was used instead of U. We going to be travelling out soon.

You will need your medical very important, your divorce decree , make sure you go through your form 1-485 for you to remember all you put down. They wont ask you about vawa the focus is on 1-485 , if you have evidence of your previous marriage you can arrange them and keep it aside in a case officer ask for it, though I was not ask about previous marriage at all.

Those question are under General Eligibility and inadmissible ground on form 1-485 I think from page 11-16 but I was only 3 of those questions.

I was feeling thesame way few days ago, but it was pretty easy. I was not asked about previous marriage or abuse. officer only asked about security threat questions, updated my old 1-485. I have seen alot of people saying same thing about vawa interview. The interview only took 15min.. make sure you have all the documents related to your immigration journey with you, you may need it , divorce decree if any and medical, you will be okay.

Can you contact your Congress person maybe they can make enquiries about the issue. Those officers are prone to error. I disnt recieve any interview letter in my name but 3 letters were address to my minor child with misspelled name.

It's a Double blessing today. Today is my birthday and I went for an interview I got approved immediately, before I got home a new card is been produce. Here is my Timeline Marriage base AOS Octomber 2019 Changed to vawa August 2020 RFE good moral Octomber, submitted November 2020. Divorce December 2020 Vawa approved December 17 2022 Interview schedule April 18,2024 Got approved immediately. Note: I went with my medical which I did a year ago ,it was accepted, I thought I would need a new one, officer said it's still valid. I wont call it an interview, I was only asked 3 question about security. the officer corrected my old AOS like address , marital status and job. So if you have a pending old 1-485 you might be call for interview for them to have up to date information about you, but if you submitted new 1-485 with your vawa petition or file later you will be mostly he among those interview will be waived. God is good. I contacted my congressman yesterday morning and boom this morning they sent the details of my interview also they promise to send the letter to the right address as soon as possible. Thank you all for your help, without God and vawa family I dont know what might have become of me. You all should remember me in prayer the interview will be on my birthday , I was surprise. @Sandra G. I requested for titer two but they wont allow mallthey asked me to write Vermont. I already contacted my Congress person but she said she will have to wait for 3 months before she can make any enquiry about my case.

@balo101 @Sandra G. I went to my old address tonight and I got to know that I hot some letters two weeks ago from immigration but they sent it back USPS. Am in confused situation now, have cried my eye out, I dont know where to go from here. I haven't recieve any letter from this place for the past 3 years now, I dont know why they will send my interview letter there. I went to the field office they wont allow me in.

You all should help me please, i ha e not recieve my interview letter in mail. I think they sent it to my old address. Have recieve all other letter in the new address I gave to USCIS but I dont know why this most important mail of it all will be mail to the old address. my Congress person told me she cant help me because they told her not to until after 3 month before she can contact them again about my case. Have been to my old address but the person living there didn't open door, maybe not at home. Emman couldnt give me any information because of vawa and same with info pass I made. I need suggestion , I dont want to start all over again.

It all depends on the field office and the workload they have. I think you are close. It took mine 13months before they schedule me for an interview. You will get there soon.

Happy Sunday fam. How long does it take to get an interview notice after getting the update online? do I get up to 4 weeks to go to the interview after the update? I dont want to miss my interview date. I couldn't get any information about it through infopass they asked me to write Vermont center and Emman said it doesn't have any information regarding my case.
