    Ok cool thanks. How did you find out about the 6 months ? Is that kind of unspoken or did someone advise you on that?

    Happy weekend everyone, I saw on the advance parole that it is good for one year so if I were to leave to visit a family member that is in the hospital does that mean I am allowed to stay outside of the country for one year without repercussions? Or is there an unspoken rule that the maximum amount of time I can spend a broad while my AP is valid is six months or something like that?
