  1. Looking ahead: we are still waiting for the interview for my husband's I-751 removing conditions. His biometrics appointment was in December of 2022. I was looking at his passport today and realized it will expire in May of 2024. If we don't have the interview before then, and he needs to get a new passport, will this be an issue? Should we submit copies of the new passport page to the government somehow? Has anyone else ran into this issue?
  2. Yes that's correct! Does it continue to extend in that way again prior to receiving the appointment for the interview or is it because of it taking longer for USCIS to process everyone's in general?
  3. While waiting to hear about the possible interview for my husband to complete the I-751 process, something strange has happened. On November 11th, we received his original receipt notice and then about a week after he received the information to get his fingerprints taken and it stated that it would be extended for 24 months past the expiration date. On MyUSCIS is says this: December 7, 2022 Case Was Updated To Show Fingerprints Were Taken November 1, 2022 We received your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence. However today, we received an identical receipt notice to the one we got in November however now it says 48 months past the expiration date. Has this happened to anyone else? I also noticed that the beneficiary and petitioner are both listed as my husband even though we filled out the section saying that we had applied jointly and we both signed it. Should we be concerned? 🥴
