Mine approved Sept 2022, filed Sept 2020!

Hi all! I recetly checked my I-360 status and it changed from Approved (I already have the card) to correspondence was received. I sent a change of address request two months ago before my lawyer finally was able to get my card. Could that be it or is it something else? So tired of these highs and lows. Please let me know!

Mine has always been smooth. I have travelled at least 5 times since I received my combo card. Every time you get in you go to a secondary inspection room (not as scary as it sounds), they ask a few questions like where did you go and what for, what do you do for living and that was pretty much it for me.

Hi guys I’m getting a little nervous - I read that people’s cases get transferred but in my case I just got a notice saying my I-130 case got transferred to Vermont! What does it mean? It is my original filing from the abuser.

Hey guys, I got a notice that my I-130 (!) was transferred to Vermont! Is that right? I was expecting the I-485 to transfer, not I-130 that still has abusers name. Thanks

How do I fire the lawyer? I am not actively retaining their services since they are not doing anything much anymore after we filed but I think they are still my official representation. They have finally reached out to USCIS to get my card re-issued to their new address, but not the approval notice that is now lost I believe. So my question is - do I ask my lawyer to also retrieve the approval notice, or does it come along in the mail with the card? Thanks!!

thank you! And how would I know that my I-485 has been transferred to NBC? Is it a status online or I will get mail about it? Reason I am asking is that USCIS has my lawyers old address, so I don't want to miss the notice. Also I didn't get an approval notice as it got delivered to my lawyers old address, I am able to retrieve the card itself only, is it sufficient? Thank you!

Hi everyone - hope everyone is doing well. I still haven't received my approved I-360 card. My lawyer sent the request to USCIS with a change of address (but they did that electronically which I know you cant do so I also mailed the form myself, no response). I am going to be contacting the congressman to resend me the card. Anyways, my question is what is the I-360 card good for? I have my AP for 2 years but I was just trying to see how detrimental it is that I can't receive the I-360. Also, what are my next steps? Do I get some sort of notice online or mailed for next steps after I360 approval? Should I be checking the status of my I-485 held in abeyance for any news or is it going to be a different case number? Thank you!
