  1. What is the problem you are having with registering with the site? What’s the issue
  2. This will be embassy specific. The request cases as soon as they have interview dates available normally so the time it takes to reach the embassy will depend on them. There wouldn’t be a set estimate I can share The first thing I’d advise is to fill in your profile with your fiancé s home country and also to join some of the forums more specific to your embassy because those answers will vary. For the Dominican Republic, you can fill out your DS-160 as soon as your case is at the embassy and book an interview but I don’t know if yours will be the same so I hesitate to give you more clarity without knowing for sure.
  3. No way to know. I’m just going based off of other timelines I’m currently seeing
  4. Hello...Welcome! For those who have just filed your I-129f application with USCIS, this thread has been created for your needs and for you to be with others experiencing different aspects of this journey. This is a place to ask questions and to share experiences. All are here to learn together. Use the USCIS case tracker to follow your case online once you’ve received your case number: ➡️ https://egov.uscis.gov ⬅️ Stay patient because this is a long process currently running 7-9 months for your NOA2 (or petition approval by USCIS first stage). Then your petition will be sent to NVC which runs about another additional 8-10 weeks processing (second stage) and finally your interview at the embassy (third stage). Also, do not compare yourself to others....Some will receive NOA-2 faster than others, some will be stuck at NVC for longer and then finally some will receive interviews fairly quickly at embassy. STAY PATIENT! Please be sure to create the timeline in your profile. Also note that USCIS goes by "Received date" : Example I-129 F Sent - January 2, 2023 I-129 F Received - January 6, 2023 (NOA-1) I-129 F - Notice Date - January 10, 2023 In this example your NOA-1 should be January 6. This will help you fill out your timeline properly.
  5. Welcome and Congratulations on your approval! This thread was created for those who are waiting for their NOA2 K-1 case assignment from NVC and then tracking your case onwards to your Embassy. Your case will be forwarded from USCIS to NVC shortly (cases have been taking 30-60 days to reach NVC. Please be patient). Once your case has arrived at NVC , you will be assigned a new case number (your old USCIS case number will not give you any NVC updates). A few helpful NVC links: ➡️ NVCResearch@state.gov ⬅️ NVC phone number is (603)334-0888 I am including this in hopes that they will reinstate the number in the future : 🚨 They are currently NOT answering queries over the phone!! ⭐️They are primarily answering all queries solely via their public contact page⭐️ 🚨 NVC PUBLIC INQUIRY FORM: If you need to submit an inquiry, change an address , request your new NVC case number or need to update your info in anyway NVC has a public inquiry form where you can submit your request as well as many other requests: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html Once you’ve received your NVC case number you can track your case online using the following link, until it is sent to your embassy: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV Also, inside the attached PDF below are a few tips, tricks and hacks to help you along the way. These are items that everyone asks for, so they have been very helpfully put together by senior VJMember Greenbaum for you to refer to when necessary. If you are new to this thread, please read these first as these are the most asked questions. ⭐️Please note, it was brought to my attention that some of the information may be outdated, but most of the helpful tips and tricks are still accurate. Regarding your packet 3, there isn’t anyone within VJ currently providing that information for each embassy so that part of the PDF may be disregarded.⭐️ https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nfin98c33IEpB0T0FlURERriblYmlm5O/view?usp=sharing NVC sends petitions to the embassy every two weeks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I noticed a 2025 shipping calendar being shared so I have included it below. You can use that calendar to track when the next shipment date will be.

  8. It’s really crazy how long it’s taking to get sent from USCIS to NVC used to be fairly quick.
  9. Hello. They say that to everyone. It is inaccurate. Very few people receive their passport in DR in the 14 day window they say. We are seeing 30-50 days currently for passport pickup up. And yes your case will stay in Ready status until they start processing the passport . Once they start processing you’ll see it move out of Ready status

  11. The timeline is not an exact estimate and should not be treated as such. The timeline is only as reliable as the data it is fed and it is based off of member profiles. So basically if people are not consistently updating their timelines (which they aren’t) your timeline will vary. Treat your timeline as a rough estimate at best.

  13. I’ve been hearing this a lot lately. Seems there is quite a delay
  14. Okay, looks like they are at least aware of your petition. I would continue to send weekly inquiries. Keep on top of them so l until they confirm it’s been received
