  1. Much thanks to everyone that responded, you made me feel much better about the situation. More importantly you gave my wife some peace of mind. PART II of the Question: When we sent back the filing after the first rejection we reprinted everything completely. We were just going to send back the same filing yesterday and then I noticed on the bottom of every page was a string of numbers/letters that they printed on (see below). I didn't send, wondering if I should reprint the entire thing again or just send back today as is? Thanks again.
  2. I'll try and be brief, but hoping someone might know the ramifications should our I-751 ultimately be deemed not filed on time. My wife's current 2 year green card expires November 8. We completed the filing and sent it in but they received it 91 days prior to November 8th. We live in Phoenix and I sent it to USCIS in Phoenix via Fedex next day thinking that would be perfect (90 day window). It was too perfect and it got there same day. This wouldn't have been a huge issue, but USCIS waited until the middle of September (45 days later) to send it back saying it was received outside the 90 day window. So we redid all the documentation (insuring dates were now correct etc) and sent it back the next week. Then we waited again. Nothing the whole month of October. Friday we got the filing back again, this time saying the amount on the Credit Card Authorization form was incorrect. I don't know how this is possible as there is only one possible fee ($750) and we wouldn't have put anything else. It was the same sheet we printed (and saved on computer) the first time. And since they destroy that one form before sending the filing back we have no proof/recourse. Now I'm Fedex'ing the same exact filing they've received twice before so it gets there tomorrow. I'm sending a cashier's check this time. Setting aside the infuriating time frames they chose to return the filings back, does anyone know what the ramifications are if they decide something else miniscule is wrong (justly or unjustly) and send it back. Any time after Friday is going to be outside the 90 day window. Thank you, and any responses are most appreciated. Mason
