  1. Usually with a second interview, they'll have emailed or informed me. Like I said I've seen ppl with the Ready status that have gone on to receive their visa without additional interview. So like you said, Ready might mean something different during AP but still has the same description pre-interview. Anyway good luck to you.
  2. So since I posted this, my status has changed from "Refused" to "Ready". Now the confusing thing about the Ready status is, the description is ready for interview meanwhile I've done my interview. I've seen ppl go from Refused to Ready and eventually get their visas but it's just frustrating. It changed to Ready in September and last date update was Nov 6th and nothing since then.
  3. So I got a 221g because I took the wrong police certificate. So I was issued a white slip to submit my passport and the current police certificate. About last week, there was an update on the case on ceac tracker but still shows refused. Then the CGI portal went from "your passport is still with the US embassy" to "Document delivery information". This is the embassy in Lagos, does anyone have any experience. Is there anywhere else to get any info. I called the help desk and they just said it was under AP which is what I understand "refused" means anyway.
  4. Thanks! What kind of checks do they usually carry out, just curious. If you know...
  5. So, I didn't get an interview until this month, and I kind of messed up. Before the interview, I was going through my documents and saw my police clearance certificate (PCC), the pink paper. When I got to the interview, a lady checked my documents, handed back the PCC, and said it was expired. I thought that couldn't be possible because I had the one from my last interview, which wasn't supposed to expire until the end of the year. I checked it and realized it was the first one I ever got. To this day, I can't explain where the unexpired one disappeared to. In the actual interview, I wasn't asked many questions, just the nature of my wife's job, who lives with her (our daughter), and if there were any changes to my status like divorce, separation, or death. She said she needed to see the PCC and that I shouldn't worry, "those are easy to get." So, she gave me a 221g form to submit the PCC and my passport. I thought I'd get home and find the unexpired PCC somewhere and feel like a total knucklehead, but I still can't find it. I had to apply for a new one and submitted it with my passport. My case status has been updated, likely to indicate they received the documents, but it still shows "Refused." Has anyone had a recent experience with a similar timeline? Are there usually any more checks? I asked the interviewer if I would need another interview, and she said it wasn't likely.
  6. Please what are the next steps after 212(a)(9)(b). My ineligibility will expire in December. I triggered a 10 year bar after I voluntarily left with my family in 2013, they were with me for the most part before they left and now want to desperately re-unite with them.
