  4. Congrats! So, you wont be able to find out your NVC case number without contacting NVC through public inquiry. I would wait about 4 weeks to send an inquiry as it takes time for USCIS file to get to NVC.

  7. ~~ Second duplicate thread removed. Once again, DO NOT start and post multiple threads about the same or similar topic (in this case 221g and AP), that is spamming ~~

  9. Some banks give you a hard time. Citi, Chase especially. Try Bank of America, they require minimal stuff
  10. I’m sure that’s how everyone waiting for interviews feels like. You’re free to apply for an expedite but to be honest with you this is not a valid expedite reason as everyone wants to be reunited with their loved ones asap. for Lagos, those DQ’d in April 2022 are getting interview letters now for a July interview. That’s a year and 3 months after being DQ’d. You can see timelines for Nigeria below: https://www.visajourney.com/timeline/k1list.php?op6=All&op66=All&op7=Nigeria&op1=3&op2=&dfile=No&op3=5&op4=1&op5=5%2C6%2C8%2C10%2C11%2C13%2C14%2C15%2C16%2C17%2C18%2C20%2C21%2C22%2C25%2C26%2C27%2C28%2C108%2C110%2C111%2C208%2C210%2C211&cfl=

  12. I-765 is filed on a basis of I-485, neither of which are applicable to your situation. She does not need a work permit if she has a GC which is what she’s getting after entering the US with her spouse visa.

  15. There are taxis that take you between cities. That would be the only way to travel without an ID. I have never done it but I’ve seen them around
  16. Even if he or she answers that, it would be very unreliable to depend on that. They can’t guarantee when you will receive the passports back. They checks IDs on trains too.
  17. Not sure how USCIS can answer questions related to entry policies of another country. You be will able to enter Mexico with the documentation you mentioned. However, Delta airlines won’t board you so I advise a different airline.
  18. Same but I stopped. It’s impossible to keep up

  20. ~~ Topic moved from CR1/IR1 spousal visa forum to Working & Traveling during US Immigration ~~ After you file I-751, you will receive a 48 month extension letter for your GC. So you can travel with an expired GC and an extension letter
  21. Since the interview is with the consulate I would follow the consulate instructions.
