    when i sponsor my wife to the usa which i was successful my lawyer informed me that we would need my wifes ex husbands written consent to file a form for my wifes daughter also. i went on ahead and just did it for my wife and she is now in the usa with a 10 year visa. is it possible for my wife to sponsor her own daughter without the fathers consent?? my wife has full custody of her daughter in the divorce papers. the ex husband does not help take care financially or anything. she is 12yo
