ok, So we were able to get the face to face appointment for July 24th.. She was able to find someone that had contacts in the office and she made the arrangements for us.. We paid her a fee and she was succesful.

My fiance was able to get in touch with someone who is going to arrange an online appointment.. We had to pay them a fee.. She sent her all the information yesterday.. As I mentioned earlier, her Visa and medical expire Aug 18th We will see if it is possible to get everything completed on time.. Thank you everyone for your input

Yes, I agree.. Very confusing and frustrating.. But it appears you can do it at the airport.. Just not sure if you have to have the seminar session completed before you go there or if you can complete it there. I will keep researching this.. Thank you

She has joined a Facebook chat and people are saying that if you have your airline ticket you can do everything at the airport a few days before she leaves.. Is that accurate information? Can you walk into the CFO office to make an appointment at the airport?

No, We were having trouble getting an appontment for the session.. Can you complete the session at the airport? I will keep trying everyday to register online. Do you need an appointment to complete the session? It is a little confusing on their website

My finace received her Visa yesterday and it seems there is not much time to get the CFO sticker because it is difficult to get an appointment at this time.. Her medical and Visa both expire on the same date - Aubust 18th.. So we have about a month to get the CFO sticker. What happens if we are not able to get an appointment fot CFO by then and the Visa and medical expire? Also. I heard that you can go to the airport at terminal 1 to get the CFO sticker.. I have tried to call there with no luck.. Do you already have to have a seminar completion certificate to go there? Do you have to have a plane ticket before you go to the airport at terminal 1? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!

Thanks again for all your advice with this.. We have our interview scheduled for Feb 23rd.. Hopefully everything goes well.. She will also have her final court date for her recognition of divorce on Feb 6th.. We have not tried to get a CENOMAR yet.. But we can try to get that document before we go to the interview.. but most likely we will on have the divorce decree from England and the CEMAR.. Hopefully that is all we will need.. I will let you know how it goes. Thanks again

We received notice that the Embassy in Manila has received the documents from the NVC and we are now able to schedule the interview. I have the instructions on how to do this but we need to wait until mid August because she has the appointment to renew her current passport.. (Current Passport has her married name on it) Currently she is in the process of having her name changed once the divorce is recognized in the Philippines.. She was divorced in England and she will have that divorce recognised in the Philippines so that she can have only her given name on the passport. My question is: should we wait to file the DS-160 until she has the passport with her family name on it or would we still be able to file the DS-160 with her current passport that has her married name on it.? The notice that we received stated that we have one year to start the scheduling process for the interview from the date of this notice. (Which was June 23, 2022) We don't want to waste time renewing the current passport if it will be unacceptable.. If that is the case we will wait until the divorce is recognized in the Philippines and file the DS-160 once she has her family name on her passport. (This process should take a few more months) I will try to reach out to the Embassy also to see if they can help to answer this question. Please advise and thoughts. Thank you
