Thanks, that's what I assumed would be the case and I called USCIS again today to schedule an InfoPass appointment so I could get the ADIT (I-551) stamp before I fly out next week. They keep saying I am on the "urgent call-back list" and someone will call within 72 business hours. But they've been saying that since 3/3 so I'm not really sure what to do at this point except just hope that the NOA1 magically shows up in my USPS mailbox.
Unfortunately that's not an option I'm afraid - I'm in St. Louis, MO and the nearest offices I can think of are Kansas City, MO or Chicago, IL both of which are 4+ hours away and I'm not sure if they take walk-ins either.
exactly why I've been requesting an InfoPass appointment since 3/3 to get the ADIT/I-551 stamp and they keep saying I'm on the "urgent" call-back list (72 business hours) since 3/3 and no one has called me back yet!
Hope it doesn't come down to this, but if I don't get anything by this Thursday I plan to show up at USCIS every morning from Friday this week until my flight next week and hopefully someone answers my prayers.
That's what I thought. No idea what's taking the NOA1 so long (assuming USPS didn't just lose it) because both the letters I got today were dated 3/8 and they are here already. I am still waiting for a Tier-2 agent to call back for an InfoPass appointment so I can get the I-551 stamp before I fly out of the US... but they keep telling me that "I am on the urgent call-back list and an agent will call within 72 business hours" - the 72 business hours ended on 3/6 and I've called thrice since and they keep telling me to wait for the letter in the mail or for the call-back - neither of which is happening right now
Additional updates:
3/1 - packet sent (overnight) to Phoenix lockbox
3/2 - packet received by Phoenix lockbox
3/6 - check cashed by USCIS
<forgot to send G-1450>
3/7 - called USCIS to get a case number: IOE0919XXXXXXXXXX, and they also said that the NOA1 was mailed on this day
3/8 - online status changed to "case is being actively reviewed by USCIS"
3/13 - received "biometric reuse" letter
3/13 - received "online account" letter with the access code
Question: I still don't have the NOA1 letter saying that my 2yr GC validity is extended by 48 months... but I see this letter in the "Documents" tab in my account. Can I use a print out of this letter to re-enter the US, or do they need the original letter sent via snail mail?!
Thanks. I am trying to add using that exact link but because my receipt number is IOExxxxxxxxxx it is asking me for an "online access code" which I have never received. Apparently it is issued to all forms submitted online, and lately paper-filers are also receiving IOE case numbers so the USCIS system assumes it is filed online.
What I found out is that the online access code is sent separately a couple days after the receipt notice. Which means I am stuck until I receive one or the other. I requested a new online access code using the USCIS website and people said it takes 2-3 business days for USCIS to send that (via email).
how did it get added to your account? I guess what I am asking is that I have a receipt number IOExxxxxxxxxx and I already had a USCIS account during AOS... but nothing got added to my USCIS account and I cannot even see the documents tab in my USCIS account.
Don't need to do this IMO - USCIS knows that credit card companies' algorithms are crazy. We did not write anything about the rejection in our revised packet - just make sure you write "RESUBMISSION" or something in the cover letter. That's what VJ's guides told us to do during AOS.
this happened with my AOS packet back in 2020. I re-sent the same papers but re-ordered them in the same manner as mentioned in the AOS guide on VJ. Make sure you include the green (I think?) paper that they sent to you when they rejected your I-751. And use a money order or personal check to pay this time, just to be safe.
Agreed - all I need right now is the receipt with 24/36/48 month extension. Once I have that I know it'll take a long, long, loooong time for the I-751 (and I've read that sometimes I-751 never gets to a decision because people file N400 and have that approved)
Short update:

3/2 - packet received by Phoenix lockbox
3/6 - check cashed by USCIS
<forgot to send G-1450>
3/7 - called USCIS to get a case number: IOE0919XXXXXXXXXX, and they also said that the NOA1 was mailed on this day
3/8 - online status changed to "case is being actively reviewed by USCIS"
Still no NOA1 but hopefully I get it soon.
Hey, I'm guessing you sent it to the Phoenix lockbox?
Can you elaborate when you sent it, when they received it, when you got charged, and when you got the NOA1? Thanks
Welp I overnighted my I-751 application and it was received by the Phoenix lockbox today (signed by a "L Montanez").
My GC expires on 3/29 so I should definitely have prepared the packet in January, but oh well - here we are.
Hoping to get the NOA1 soon because I have international travel planned at the end of the month! (trying to get an InfoPass appointment to get I-551 stamp just in case)
