Here is my updates: October 30: Package mailed via USPS. November 7: USCIS text received that package received on 11/2. November 9: 2 Notices sent out. One for extension letter for 48 Months and the other one for biometrics re-use. November 9: Status changed to "Case is being Actively Reviewed by USCIS" on case tracker mobile App. I do have a couple questions: 1. Looks like we use the extension letter along with expired GC for international travel now for the next 48 months ? 2. Also, Can we use the same extension letter to renew the Drivers license with DMV ? Already got a letter from DMV about the renewal reminder as driver's license has the GC expiration date as well. Good luck to everyone still waiting for biometrics re-use letter and extension letter.!!

Thank you for a quick answer. I have an international trip planned in late December and was worried how it is going to work with extension letter.

I assume we get a new GC with the extension as in the extension letter ? or do we just use the extension letter ? Just wondering if we have to travel outside the US during this period. Can we just use the extension letter to get inside the US. Thanks

Hi All, Planning to send our package this week, almost done compiling all the documentation. Have a couple questions though: 1. Where do we find the USCIS online account number ? Form I-751 has (section-9) asking for it but I cannot find the online account number. Can anyone point to it or can we just leave that section blank. 2. I saw there is an option for credit card payment for the fees with another form, G-1450. Has anyone did that way or adding the check along with the forms the best way to do it ? 3. Lastly, for the Bona fide affidavit letter from 2 people, Does it have to be notarized or just the self-signature from the respective parties writing the letter sufficient? Hello, it’s been a while back to this forum and just wanted to make sure I’m on the right thread. Got my GC on January-20,2021 and I believe you have to file for the extension (10 year GC) 3 months prior to the expiration. Am I in the right thread and discussion group? also would appreciate if anyone can list the forms to be filled for this process. Thanks in advance.
