Update on i us. Fiancé has her medical sppt next Monday. She will attend by herself, with a friend for support. I am flying in on the 12th to bring all my original papers and we will be together for her interview on the 17th. Of course, even though it is the US Embassy, I went be allowed inside. How unbelievable is that? I’ll find a coffee shop and wait for the smiles. Best case scenario, we will pick up her passport/Visa on about the 20th. But who knows? Then we start the mysterious Philippine CFO process. We have no idea how long that will take, but as soon as we get the certificate, I’ll buy plane tickets and we will make our way to the USA. Long road to get here. Months and months of waiting and nothing and then everything seems to happen at once.

As far we can research, there is no more online seminar. In person only.

Just another case of a govt entity trying to mask It’s inefficiency. Your scans have been above and beyond. Thank you for what you have been doing, and don’t worry about what is happening now. We could not ask more of you. -
The endgame. Our K1 case is at the embassy and ready.

Next question. Paying for the physical at SLEC. Can you pay at the clinic? The instructions online mention pre-paying at Security Bank, but there are no branches anywhere near in my finances area. -
I am at the tail end of the K-1 visa process. I have created a DS-134 for my fiancé to submit at the interview with a letter of explanation. We will see how that goes. i am a disabled veteran. I get monthly disability checks from the VA, and that money is non-taxable. I also receive SSI, and at tax time, my AGI is below taxable levels. So the IRS refuses to accept a tax return from me. So I have no tax transcripts for the last 5 years. I wrote all this in a letter of explanation to accompany the DS-134, along with benefit letters from the VA and the SSA. I sent letters from the banks detailing my savings and the deposits into those accounts. I hope that will suffice for the K-1. My gross income is well above the required level for sponsorship. My question comes because the AOS seems to be much stricter on the income requirements and I am just wondering if you folks have suggestions on the paperwork I should start gathering. i am 62 years old and worked and paid taxes for over 45 years, just not in the last 5 years. Thank you for your time.

I will echo this request. My finance is going to Manila without me for the physical, but we will return together to Manila for her interview the following week. Surely there are some folks out there that have stayed recently and would have suggestions?

Gosh. I cannot imagine the pain, frustration and anger of those folks in the 4.5% of the cases still untouched. -
My fiancé had her CFO course scheduled for last Monday. This was scheduled without the visa. She received an email 6 days before the course saying she had to cancel because they no longer will do the course without a visa in the passport. Her interview is in 3 weeks. Now we have no idea how long it will take to get the CFO certificate after the interview. CFO is a giant black hole of zero information.

We got the NOA2 by regular mail, of course, but everything else has been email. We received 2 emails after the package got to the embassy. A short email giving us the case number and a longer one listing the next steps. But we didn’t need them. As soon as our case went to ‘Ready’ we submitted the DS-160, made the payment, and scheduled the appts. We have only 2 concerns at this point 1. Will something go wrong at the medical checkup? (TB test), and 2. The CFO process is a big black hole of unknowns.

Regarding the medical appt. Is that one day and done? I can fly her to Manila the day before the appt and fly her back home the day after? She says she heard from some places that they make you return the second day ‘sometimes’. -

DS-160 payment was processed today. She got an appointment for 17 October. Booking the medical now. -
CEAC says we will be contacted regarding the next steps. I understand every country is different. Will the embassy send us an info packet? Or do we just go ahead and find out how to submit the DS-160, get the receipt, and make our appointments?

Welcome and Congratulations on your approval! This thread was created for those who are waiting for their NOA2 K-1 case assignment from NVC and then tracking your case onwards to your Embassy. A few helpful NVC links: NVC phone number is (603)334-0888 🚨 Please note: They are currently NOT answering queries over the phone! 🚨 They are answering through the below email : ➡️ NVCinquiry@state.gov ⬅️ Once you’ve received your NVC case number you can track your case online using the following link, until it is sent to your embassy: https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV If you need to submit an inquiry, change an address , or need to update your info in anyway NVC also has a public inquiry form where you can submit your request as well as other requests: https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/visa-information-resources/ask-nvc.html Also, inside the attached PDF below are a few tips, tricks and hacks to help you along the way. These are items that everyone asks for, so they have been very helpfully put together by senior VJ Member Greenbaum for you to refer to when necessary. If you are new to this thread, please read these first as these are the most asked questions. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1nfin98c33IEpB0T0FlURERriblYmlm5O/view?usp=sharing NVC sends petitions to the embassy every two weeks on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. A FB group has created a shipping chart for 2023 that you can use to track when the next shipment date will be. It seems to line up with all the dates I’ve seen so far so I think it’s accurate and will include it below. I copied this from the May thread. Kudos to @JojoandThomas.

Hello...Welcome! I copied this post from another month so us June fillers could start tracking our process. If anything is screwed up , the fault is mine. For those who have just filed your I-129f application with USCIS, this thread has been created for your needs and for you to be with others experiencing different aspects of this journey. This is a place to ask questions and to share experiences. All are here to learn together. Stay patient because this is a long process currently running 10-13 months for your NOA2 or petition approval by USCIS (first stage). Then your petition will be sent to NVC (second stage) and finally your interview at the embassy (third stage). Also, do not compare yourself to others....Some will receive NOA-2 faster than others, some will be stuck at NVC for longer and then finally some will receive interviews fairly quickly at embassy. STAY PATIENT! Please create the timeline in your profile. Also note that USCIS goes by "Received date" : Example I-129 F Sent - March 31, 2022 I-129 F Received - April 1, 2022 (NOA-1) I-129 F - Notice Date - April 4, 2022 In this example your NOA-1 should be April 1. This will help you fill out your timeline properly.
