who should fill I-824, Petitioner or Applicant ?

Hi, finally after 3 years of wait time my I-130 approved, but unfortunately i made a mistake. under the section of other information where you choose either adjustment of status or processing visa out side of USA US embassy i filled out both options and now USCIS retained my application and advised me to file form I-824. any suggestion please to avoid wait time and filling fee.

Hi, i filled I-130 for my spouse in April 2020, in May 2023 i got RFE and i responded June 2023. any idea how long USCIS will take for decision ? Thank you.
