  4. *** Moved from IR1/CR1 Progress Reports to IR1/CR1 Process & Procedures *** You not residing in the US is what's negatively affecting your compliance to the domicile requirement. What documentary evidence of ties to the US do you currently have, other than your citizenship?
  5. Also, the travel authorization document based on CHNV program is single-entry. Beneficiaries would need to apply for AP (or re-apply under CHNV) if they ever want to leave and re-enter the US.
  6. *** Moved from NVC forum to US Embassy & Consulate Discussion -- OP's case is already DQ, and interview scheduling depends on the consulate, not an NVC issue ***
  7. I think you mean visa interview, as green card interviews are only conducted inside the US. As for 2022 tax documents, it depends on when the interview will be. If before April 18, they will not be required.

  12. What is the case status on CEAC? You should fill out and submit the DS-160 when CEAC case status turns "Ready" or "In Transit". Actually, you may submit the DS-160 at any time, but it would be pointless to do so before the case is transferred out of NVC.
  13. For civil documents required for US immigration, typically only police certificates and passports expire. If your passport is expired, you'll need to renew it before the visa interview. As for the police certificate, for US immigration purposes, it's valid for 2 years from issue date, regardless of what the issuing country considers as expiration date. Birth/death/marriage/divorce certificates do not expire for US immigration purposes.
  14. DQ = Documentarily Qualified at NVC You can only wait for PD for F3 India in table A to move. Like I said above, NVC will continue to hold your case and will not schedule an interview until your PD is current.

  17. DOS Reciprocity page says there is no exception to the requirement for Mexican police certificate for K1 or immigrant visa applicants 18 years or older if they lived in Mexico for more than 6 months -- https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/Mexico.html Now that your fiancee has been in Mexico for more than 6 months, she will need to get a police certificate from Mexico if she wants a K1 visa from any US consulate. For those who are thinking of staying in Mexico as a tourist, do NOT stay more than 6 months if you are not confident that you can comply with this requirement for police certificate. Note that the 6 months count is total residence for 1 year (cumulative, not necessary continuous -- ie, a quick trip outside of Mexico will not reset the count).

  20. What country? Even if the F3 visa case has already been DQ for many years, it cannot be scheduled for interview until after PD is current in table A of the visa bulletin, as noted above.
