  1. Any reason you picked this route with the layover at SFO? EVA Air has direct flights from Taipei to Seattle, so you could book MNL -> TPE -> SEA. SEA would be your fiancee's POE.
  2. *** Moved from IR1/CR1 Progress Reports to IR1/CR1 Process & Procedures *** Need 4 separate I-864 forms, but upload just 1 under each case. As you know, your stepkids are not derivatives, so each kid needs an I-864 listing them as the principal immigrant. Note that your husband is not the only principal applicant. All of them are considered principal applicants.
  3. *** Moved from AOS from K1 Visas forum to Your New Life In America forum, where insurance-related topics are discussed *** Has it been more than 75 days since your wife arrived with her K1 visa? If less than 75 days, have her go to an SSA office and apply for SSN ASAP. Do NOT miss this window. If more than 75 days pass, she will no longer be eligible for SSN until she gets her EAD work permit or GC.
  4. *** Moved from Bringing Family of USC forum to Bringing Family of LPR forum -- petitioner is still an LPR *** Your daughter's PD is not current, so not in line for interview yet. Not current = no way to expedite. Only those cases with PD earlier than listed in Table A of the visa bulletin will be in line for interview. If you become a US citizen, there's a slight chance (but no guarantee) that your daughter's case could be current sooner, as F1 (Philippines) is slightly ahead of F2B, as of the Aug 2023 visa bulletin -- https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/legal/visa-law0/visa-bulletin/2023/visa-bulletin-for-august-2023.html
  5. *** Moved from K1 Process & Procedures to US Embassy & Consulate Discussion, as the topic is about a specific consulate ***
  6. *** Moved from IR1/CR1 Process & Procedures to the Africa: Sub-Saharan regional forum, for Ghana-specific input ***
  7. You can try. It won't hurt your case, but set your expectations low that it will actually be expedited.
  8. Interview scheduling at USEM seems to be a little wonky recently. Seems they auto-expedited many cases that were DQ in Feb to May this year, so those applicants could pick their interview schedule themselves. Join the thread below for updates from others pending interview in Manila --

  13. *** Moved from K1 Progress Reports to Moving to the US forum, where similar topics are discussed ***
  14. *** Moved from US Citizenship General Discussion to Passports sub-forum -- original topic is about passport application, although OP's child's eligibility is in question due to lack of parental custody evidence ***
  15. You will need to mention the K1 I-129F in the I-130 petition, in the section that asks about previous petitions filed. The advice given in your other thread is to not submit a copy of any K1 withdrawal letter previously submitted. It would not hurt your I-130 case to reuse any of the relationship evidence you submitted with the I-129F.
  16. *** Moved from Bringing Family of USC forum to AOS from Work/Student/Tourist Visas forum *** Once you get the I-485 receipt notice, I strongly recommend filing the I-765 and I-131 as well. They are (still) free to file, with a copy of the I-485 receipt.
  17. *** Moved from Bringing Family of USC forum to IR1/CR1 Process & Procedures, where topics about I-130 for spouse of USC are discussed ***
  18. *** Moved from Bringing Family of USC forum to Tax & Finances During US Immigration ***
  19. *** Moved from K1 Process & Procedures to K1 Progress Reports ***
  20. There is no requirement for the petitioner to live in the same address all throughout their beneficiary's K1 process. Petitioners are allowed to move residences anytime. Also no requirement for the address info to be "consistent" across all the evidence submitted from start to finish. There IS a requirement to be truthful in answering all the immigration forms and interview questions. Do not risk your beneficiary's immigration journey by misrepresenting your info just because you think no one will check. Just be truthful. Full stop.
  21. *** Moved from Waivers forum to Student & Exchange Visitor Visas forum, where topics related to J1 waiver are discussed ***
  22. USCIS says it may take up to 90 days after US entry and fee payment. But mine arrived after 120+ days.
  23. *** Moved from Tourist Visas forum to Work Visas forum ***
  24. *** Moved from K1 Progress Reports to K1 Process & Procedures *** No paper mail sent to the petitioner after NOA2. Answer the DS-160 truthfully. So your beneficiary should put whichever address is current at the time of DS-160 submission. If your address changes by the time of the interview, your beneficiary should update the DS-160 info at the consulate on the day of the interview.
