  2. *** Moved from IR1/CR1 Progress Reports to NVC forum, to be among other threads about CEAC system issues *** Use this link -- https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV Still requires only 3 fields -- visa type (IV), case number, captcha code.
  3. Enter your residential zip code here (scroll to bottom of page) -- https://www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-a-uscis-office/field-offices
  4. *** Moved from K1 Progress Reports to K1 Process & Procedures ***
  5. *** Moved from K1 Progress Reports to K1 Process & Procedures *** I assume you mean the I-129F petition form for K1 fiance? If so, that form should be submitted by your US citizen fiance. Is your USC fiance really not fluent enough in English to fill out the form? If the USC petitioner is fluent enough, then the preparer and interpreter sections of the I-129F should be left blank.

  7. Some states care about an applicant's immigration status before issuing any state ID/DL. Seems Pennsylvania (as indicated in OP's VJ profile) is one of those states that require DL applicants to have lawful presence in the US. They have a note for non-citizen applicants that they will verify immigration documents using USCIS SAVE system -- https://www.dot.state.pa.us/Public/DVSPubsForms/BDL/BDL Publications/pub 195nc.pdf

  10. Having health insurance is not required for US immigration purposes. (But highly recommended for your own well-being.)
  11. You need to pay the biometrics fee for the I-485, not the I-765. It's $85, not $100. Make sure you send the correct amount, or your I-485 will get rejected. As mentioned above, filing I-765 (under category (c)(9) based on marriage to USC) is free when filed with I-485.
  12. We also answered "Yes" to "Was the beneficiary EVER in the United States?" For "Form I-94 Arrival-Departure Record Number", we entered "Not applicable - not in USA". Then we left the rest of the questions on that web page blank. Our I-130 was approved, no RFE. To avoid delaying your case, make sure to answer the next section (re: adjustment of status) correctly. Double- or triple-check. The answers for "The beneficiary is in the United States and will apply for adjustment of status" should be left blank or enter "Not applicable". Then select the consulate city/province/country in the next section.
  13. *** Moved from AOS from K1 Visas forum to Your New Life In America forum -- OP is done with AOS, now in the process of getting DL ***

  15. In your case, that would involve immigration fraud. Don't do it. K1 or CR1 are the legal options for you.
  16. The I-864 and supporting financial documents are not required until NVC stage, after I-130 approval. It won't help your case to submit the I-864 before it is required. Since you live in Canada and your spouse will be interviewing in Montreal presumably, have you prepared documentary evidence of your US domicile? Montreal is particularly strict about USC spouse petitioners having domicile in the US. Domicile evidence is also not required until NVC stage, but it might take you time to collect the evidence, so best to start preparing sooner rather than later to avoid delaying your case.

  18. Did you get an email and CEAC inbox message with the exact words "Documentarily Qualified" (DQ)? Having your documents in "Accepted" status is not enough. Your case will only be queued for interview after you get that DQ email.

  22. After submitting DS-160, your fiancee will get a DS-160 confirmation with barcode. She needs that, so make sure to follow the instructions for printing it out. But the DS-160 confirmation is different from the MRV receipt. To pay the MRV fee, generate and print a deposit slip using -- https://www.ustraveldocs.com/ph/pmisdepositslip.htm?amount=265&country=philippines Follow the instructions for payment at RCBC. After paying the fee, the bank will issue a receipt. Wait 1 business day after paying, then book the interview appointment using the receipt number from the bank.
  23. *** Moved from Tourist Visas forum to the Philippine regional forum -- topic is not about US tourist visa process ***
  24. There's no such thing as "main" application nor "family" application for US tourist visa. As others already said, everyone who wants a tourist visa applies individually and needs their own separate DS-160. Each application is processed as an individual case, even if the consulate allows family members to interview on the same timeslot.
