  1. *** Moved from K1 Progress Reports to K1 Process & Procedures *** If you have never been arrested or charged for any crime, then there is no need to submit criminal records or FBI background check with the I-129F. Also no need to disclose traffic violations, unless the incident was alcohol/drug-related or involved a fine of $500 or more.
  2. Scan the envelope (front & back) and upload the PDF scan to CEAC. From https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Visa-Reciprocity-and-Civil-Documents-by-Country/Japan.html -- "Japanese Police Certificates are issued in a sealed envelope. If the seal is broken, the certificate is considered invalid. Visa applicants should not open a sealed envelope containing a Police Certificate. The applicant must bring the original Police Certificate in a sealed envelope to the U.S. Embassy/Consulate at the time of his/her interview. Applicants should only send a photocopy of the sealed envelope to the National Visa Center, but not the actual police certificate itself."
  3. *** Moved from IR1/CR1 Process & Procedures to AOS from Work/Student/Tourist Visas forum -- topic is about AOS for spouse (of USC) currently in the US ***
  4. *** Moved from General Immigration-Related Discussion to AOS from Work/Student/Tourist Visas Progress Reports ***
  5. The resolution for the OP of this thread will not apply to you as you are going through a different process. OP went through the visa process which is handled by a different agency (DOS) after petition stage, while you will be dealing with USCIS throughout your adjustment of status process.
  6. *** Moved from SSN sub-forum to Military Immigration-Related Discussion, for input from our members in the military who might have relevant info ***
  7. *** Merged related threads, and moved to Passports sub-forum, where similar topics about US citizenship document for LPR minor children of USC are discussed ***
  8. *** Moved from K1 Progress Reports to K1 Process & Procedures ***
  9. *** Moved from IR1/CR1 Progress Reports to Moving to the US forum, where similar topics about POE procedures are discussed ***
  10. What is your case status on CEAC? If it's not "In Transit" or "Ready", no need to fill out the DS-160 yet.
  11. *** Moved from IR1/CR1 Process & Procedures to the China regional forum, for country-specific input ***
  12. No need to submit I-94 document as proof that your wife left the US. That said, I recommend that you do submit her I-94 travel history (arrival/departure records) as part of your bona fide marriage evidence. We submitted beneficiary's I-94 travel history. As supporting evidence, we attached photos corresponding to every US visit in the I-94 history. Our I-130 petition was approved, no RFE.
  13. We did something similar -- around 20 photos, grouped into 4 photos per page in a PDF file. The photos were of different sizes and orientation (landscape/portrait). Our I-130 petition was approved, no RFE.
  14. *** Duplicate thread locked in favor of previous thread linked above, where OP's question was already addressed ***
  15. I-130 approval is only the first part of the process. Next is NVC document submission and review, then consulate processing including visa medical and interview. Consulate interview can only be conducted outside the US. Check the official DOS visa process flow to familiarize yourself with the next steps -- https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition.html Please start a new thread if you have further questions on the visa process. This thread is only about US travel on ESTA/B visa.
  16. *** Moved from General Immigration-Related Discussion to IR1/CR1 Process & Procedures, where topics about I-130 process for spouse of USC are discussed ***
  17. My CBP endorsement stamp has no signature either. Just the stamped entry date and the handwritten category.
  18. *** Moved from K1 Progress Reports to K1 Process & Procedures, and removed duplicate post from another member's thread *** K1 & K2 may interview together with just 1 interview timeslot. But the K2 children's names must also be listed in the K1's appointment confirmation letter. IIRC, the online scheduler has a field where you enter the names of the family members who will be interviewing together with the primary applicant.
