  1. *** Moved from K1 Process & Procedures to the Canada regional forum, for country-specific input *** You may schedule your medical after you book your K1 visa interview schedule. You may get any missing vaccines at the medical, but it might cost more. Ok to get your shots at a pharmacy or a local clinic, just make sure to get a copy of your vaccination record.
  2. *** Removed another related thread. Please do not create multiple threads on the same topic, as that is considered spamming. Post your related questions/updates in this thread to keep the discussion in one place. ***
  3. Correct. Depends on your country and the vaccination services at the consulate-accredited clinic(s). Your previous posts indicate that you are in Canada. Is that right?
  4. 1. Yes 2. Yes -- get the police certificate. I-134 may be filled out, signed, scanned, emailed, and printed anytime before the interview. 3. Submit the DS-160, pay the MRV fee, then book the visa interview schedule using the consulate's online scheduling portal. Note that the procedure may differ from what I said above, depending on your interviewing consulate.
  5. A few vacation photos, by themselves, would be insubstantial. That's why you should submit passport stamps and/or boarding passes as your primary evidence of time spent together in person. Then you add the vacation photos as supporting evidence. That's exactly what we did, and I got my spouse visa just fine without any RFEs at all during the process. We also had no joint finances and no children together. If you were together every month in 2022, then you have more time together than we did when we submitted our petition. Our bona fide relationship evidence was just 12 pages, most of which consisted of our passport stamps, country entry/exit records, and photos together.
  6. OP would no longer be a Filipino after taking the US oath. Their existing Philippine passport would be void by PH law. Unless OP applies to reacquire Filipino citizenship and gets a new PH passport prior to travel (which will likely take longer than applying for emergency US passport), OP would not have a valid passport for travel. Rescheduling the oath ceremony is really the only option, if OP needs to travel asap.
  7. It is poorly worded for N400 under the 3-year rule. Only international trips from the last 3 years are required in your case.
  8. Although the I-130 approval may be expedited by USCIS, it will be pointless, as the visa cannot be granted by the consulate if there is no visa number available. Family-based visa numbers (such as for F4 cases) are limited per year, according to US immigration law. As mentioned by other posters, the approved I-130 will just sit at NVC for many years until a visa number becomes available. If a visa number is not available (ie, case Priority Date is not current on the visa bulletin), the case cannot be expedited to get a visa, for any reason. From the Department of State website -- https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/national-visa-center/immigrant-visas-processing-general-faqs.html#ivp7 I have been waiting for a very long time for my relative to get an immigrant visa. Now there is a family emergency and I need my relative to immigrate soon to the U.S. Can NVC help me? [...] If a visa is not available, unfortunately there is nothing that NVC can do to expedite the petition. Immigrant visa processing is governed by the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952, as amended, which controls availability of visas. There is no provision within the law that would allow the Department of State to issue a visa to someone for whom a visa is unavailable.

  10. Required vaccinations for adult applicants up to 59 years old -- Td/Tdap, MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Flu (seasonal), COVID. Details here -- https://www.cdc.gov/immigrantrefugeehealth/panel-physicians/vaccinations.html#tbl1 If you've had chickenpox before, the clinic may take your word for it and not require Varicella vaccine. Full series of shots for COVID will be required prior to the medical, but boosters not required for immigration purposes.
  11. *** Moved from AOS from K1 Visas Progress Reports to AOS from Work/Student/Tourist Visas forum -- topic is about AOS of adult child overstaying on B2 visa ***
  12. CR1 -- entered the US with a spouse visa CR6 -- adjusted to LPR in the US
  13. No need for an explanation letter or your medical records. Not now or at the interview.
  14. Congratulations! Take photos while it is still your wedding day. No need for anything fancy, even selfies at home will do. Just something to commemorate the occasion. The interviewing officer might ask to see photos at your husband's AOS interview.
  15. *** Moved from Tourist Visas forum to the South America regional forum -- topic is not about US visa process ***
  16. *** Moved from USCIS Service Centers forum to ROC General Discussion ***
  17. You posted in the AOS from K1 visa forum. Did you enter the US with a K1 visa? If not, what visa did you use?
  18. Check the reviews for the interviewing consulate here -- https://www.visajourney.com/reviews/

  20. NVC and the consulate are part of DOS. You will be required to declare the overstay on your DS-260 form when your case gets to the NVC/DOS stage. The DS-260 form requires details on your last 5 US visits and requires you to declare if you EVER overstayed in the US, regardless of your age at the time. Your overstay will likely not be an issue in your case, as you were a minor when it happened. Just be honest about it on the DS-260 and if asked at your consulate interview.
  21. *** Moved from IR1/CR1 Process & Procedures to Moving to the US forum -- OP's wife is done with the visa process ***
  22. This is a visa case, so OP will be dealing with DOS. USCIS may forgive, but DOS does not.
