  1. Use the receipt number from the $220 immigration fee that you paid to track the status of the greencard.
  2. Ask the consulate. I believe they routinely handle cases from Iran and Iraq and they should recommend the best approach for you.
  3. Boarding passes, passport stamps and photos together is enough evidence of having met. Please be aware that the K1 fiance visa is taking about the same time or longer than the CR1 spouse visa nowadays.
  4. You can. It's your time. If you want to waste it by applying online and then going to the SSA office to basically do the same thing over again, then go ahead.
  5. You need to verify the car meets US safety and emissions standards, by filling out EPA form 3520-1 and DOT form HS-7. Your best bet is to call the Champlain office: 518-298-8311. They should be able to provide detailed information. A couple years ago I called that office or the Buffalo office (I forgot which one) about how to purchase a campervan in Canada and bring it to the US. They gave me the info I needed, but I ended up not purchasing it.
  6. You do not use Global Entry while travelling within the US. It is used when traveling to the US from another country. Maybe you are asking about TSA Pre-check? I think Nexus has that as well - look for a known traveller number on the back of the card. You just need the number - that card itself is not needed. For express inspection travel to/from Mexico, you need a SENTRI card. I believe, as with the NEXUS card, all travellers in the vehicle need their own SENTRI.
  7. I would have thought London would have handled othe NIV applications - how did they handle payment before? I would contact them again, quoting or showing what USCIS stated. Is this for form I-140?
  8. Any bank transaction over $10K is automatically reported to the IRS. From my recollection, it does not need to be declared separately, unless the money was earned from something (sale of real estate, car, etc).
  9. Total Income is used for self employed: income minus expenses. Requirement is a tax return for the most recent tax year. Tax returns for years 2 and 3 are optional. You will, however, have to list the income of years 2 and 3. You may need a joint sponsor. The decision will be up to the CO.. If you are submitting the AOS now, it will take over a year and you should have 2023 taxes to help in the determination.
  10. As part if the K1 process, the beneficiary will need to fill out the DS-160. One question is to list a current spouse, if any. You married, per your statements, and therefore that part will need to be filled correctly, which will disqualify the K1.
  11. No, the age does not get frozen when you file the I-130. The age is frozen when the applicant (beneficiary children in this case) seeks-to-acquire. I.E., they file the DS-260 at the NVC stage. Up until that time, you will need to use the CSPA calculation to see if they will or have aged out. Speed is key for both children. Otherwise, their category will change to F2B and take 7+ more years.
  12. Then it will be 300 more days of frustration. Immigration will be slow. You are just on this first step - K1 visa Next will be EAD wait, then AP wait, then AOS wait, then ROC wait. All these steps will take several months to a few years. Patience is key, not to help the processing, but to keep the stress level down.
  13. Yes. As Crazycat already stated, the current processing time average is 450+ days. That is about 15 months.
  14. Once you have your CR1/IR1 visa, your first entry to the US will be on that visa. If for some reason CBP do not notice that you have a CR1 and you do get entry on ESTA, I do not know how that will be handled. Your CR1 may be voided. This is an unusual issue and I defer to others' with more knowledge.
  15. Typically there is no email address for a specific office, only the email addresses of the employees that work there. They do not publish direct email addresses. You will need to go through the general USCIS contacts.
  16. I don't see how applying for expedite again would result in a different outcome, but it is free to try. As Boiler mentioned, an expedite does not equal real world "fast". If granted, the time to interview may be 2 months instead if 6, or whatever it will be if your proceed normally. For those 2 months, your fiance will face what he is facing now. It is best to help him get housing locally first.
  17. AP is AP. It takes a few days for paperwork and a variable amount of days to run background checks. For those who have faced long AP, the delay is due to background checks.
  18. Last I checked it took on average 3 months to get scheduled after DQ
  19. If your emails are corrupted, use a different email service as well.
  20. 1. What is your country? 2. What stage of the spouse visa process are you in? 3. Are there no other options for completing your degree? 4. Why do you think going to school in China would be an issue for your immigration? Is it a concern for timing or something else?
  21. You have a dilemma. Your MIL doesn't seem to qualify for TPS. You have 3 options: 1. Continue to press for TPS. I think USCIS will deny it and you will need to appeal, if that's alllowed. 2. If you MIL has less than 180 days of unlawful presence, she can travel to Europe and you can petition her under U4U humanitarian parole. I assume she was given 6 months stay starting April 16? If so, her 180 day unlawful stay limit would be around April 10 or 11, 2023. 3. You can help her apply for asylum. Due to the ongoing war, this should work. But because of the 2 other programs - TPS and U4U - USCIS case officer may deny it and refer you to the other programs and put you guys through red tape hell. If it was me, I would go with option 2. But this is not risk free - the ultimate choice is up to you.
  22. Your MIL qualifies for the 2nd part - continual physical presence since April 19, but may not meet the first part - continuous residency since April 11. Try contacting the program director:
