  1. What did you do for evidence when you interviewed for your IR1/CR1 visa? What did you enter on your DS-260?
  2. Also, married children are a different category - F3. Your MIL will need to become a USC first, and the wait time is 15+ years after filing.
  3. They do not care where you go. You should go to the US before the visa expires.
  4. People here focus on the immigration and visa side of CBP, per the nature of this website The first letter of the acronym is Customs. The people walking around baggage claim and watch arriving passengers collect their luggage and sometimes question them are also CBP. A major portion of their work is to spot and investigate customs violations. EDIT: Everyone is subject to the above, even citizens.
  5. File for citizenship. That seems to bring the I-751 back to life.
  6. Yes. Didn't you upload it to NVC? How did you get DQ'd without it?
  7. If you just received your NVC case number, I am not sure how it could be DQ'd. 1. What type of visa is this? CR1, F1, F3, F4? 2. Are you referring to the DS-260 for you, and you entered the wrong names for your children? 3. If this is CR1/IR1, are there separate I-130s for your children (CR2/IR2)?
  8. Ni. Do not mail it to her. Do as @Mike E posted: have your wife use her passport with the endorsed visa. Or meet her and hand it to her. Take a vacation in Spain or Itali or Greece.
  9. I assume you have claimed a lot of expenses. For those who are self employed, you cannot use AGI. You need to use total income: gross income minus expenses. If it's below the minimum per your household size, you will need to get a joint sponsor.
  10. I have seen several people new to immigration get fired up and typically pick USCIS as their complaint target -- they should do this, they should do that, gov should do something. Usually that fire is limited to this forum or similar and at times end up in echo chamber posts. I have never seen anyone organize a grass roots campaign, about USCIS or, better yet, immigration legislation in general. And I have seen few politicians run on pro-immigration platforms. There are far more anti-immigration candidates. Even many immigrants balk at rule or system changes -- they had to go through a grueling process so "why should the gov. make it easier for newcomers? That is not fair!" Vent as much as you need.
  11. Yoh can't make a GC for your parents. You can petition them for IR5 visas. You will need to be the primary affidavit of support sponsor. They will apply for the visa once the petition is approved.
  12. Why are you asking? If it's to file for a spousal visa, then the only requirement is to meet during or after the online marriage. It does not need to be registered in the Philippines. If it's for you to get a residence visa to the Philippines to live there, then I believe it will need to be registered.
  13. I-130 is for family reunification. Are your children USC's? If not, then they need I-130s for them as well. For an expedite, you will need to show how granting the visa expeditiously will help. That is, eo you have a job lined up in the States? Without this evidence, it is not likely the expedite will be granted. You filed Aug 2022. There's a reasonable chance the I-130 will be approved in the fall of this year. Quickly pay and complete the NVC steps and you might get the interview by the end of the year.
  14. Are you aware of the fees? I-130 currently is $535. There are proposals to increase this fee sometime this year. For the spousal and child visa process, it starts with the I-130 only (times two - one for each). Later on there are the NVC fees, but that won't be until the I-130s are approved, which will take a year or so.
  15. The only exception to the language and civics requirement that I know of is for medical or disabilities. A doctor or phycologist needs to fill out an N648.
  16. No specific order required. Nothing will be done with your case until all items are submitted.
  17. For W7, your wife will need to send in her passport or an official copy from the issuing agency - a copy from the gov department that issues passport. You waited until 3 business days before taxes are due to ask about this. I do not see how you can file your taxes in time. The easiest method is to paper file your tax as MFS - put in your wife's name and enter "NRA" in her SSN field. Later, when your wife gets her ITIN or SSN, you can amend your 2022 taxes.
  18. If the agent accepted your request, then you will receive mail from USCIS requesting evidence for the expedite request.
  19. His PD is before the April bulletin date, so he is covered on that end (Nov 2019 is before Sept 2020). He just needs to wait for his interview.
