rowrowrowtheboat got a reaction from striking19 in 2020/ 21- US Passport & Card Application-Tracker
Mine changed to expedited after several days. I am not sure if they start everyone from routine service, then change to expedited as appropriate. So your wife's application might change to expedited as well. Don't worry. Good luck.

I paid for expedited service. Today I received my passport. But my last name was spelled wrong, which is the reason my online status is "Not Available." My last name is fairly simple, only 3 letters, and they managed to spell it wrong ☹️ Now I have to send this passport back and wait for another 4-6 weeks with $60 for expedited service.

rowrowrowtheboat reacted to SusieQQQ in question on visitor's visa
Sibling visas take 15 years or more so the immigrant intent is often far enough away that it doesn’t matter for b renewal. Ties to home country are always most important factor for B visas.

I may, but B2s are based on your brother’s ties to his home country, so who knows.
Good Luck!

Yes, they do same day oath of allegiance. I did my naturalization interview today. I waited in the lobby for about one hour before I was called inside. The IO conducted civics test first, followed by reading and writing. Then he went through my N-400, including every question of Part 12, nothing picky, all normal questions found on N-400. Then I took the oath. The whole process took about 30 minutes. I waited another 30 minutes to get my certificate of naturalization. The IO was very nice. The whole interview process was very smooth. I saw 5-6 candidates in the lobby today, and they all passed. The problem of Seattle is that you have to wait a long time before your interview is scheduled. But the interview part is very smooth and nice for most people that I read of. So you just need a little more patience to be scheduled. This forum has been a very positive spiritual support for me. I am very grateful to this forum. Good luck to everyone.

I applied on Sept 15, 2019, and I did my biometrics on 10/13/2019. I believe yours is coming soon.

They scheduled the interview on July 8th in the afternoon. They notified me on Friday June 26th by email (USCIS-Case notification email).
MyUSCIS and the Check-case status websites updated it on June 27th. They said "my interview was scheduled".
I learned about the date/time because I called Customer Service. They said they mailed me the notification but I haven't received it yet.
