    Thank you for responding! We are going to attend the appointment! I was just afraid something was wrong. I hope it is something simple such as new fingerprints. Did it take you a while to get your greencard after your biometrics?

    She is in the US already and has been for a month she came on the IR5 visa. We applied for her greencard while she was in Lebanon, but she just got a biometrics appointment for next week for her greencard. I didn't think she would need a biometrics I thought her greencard would just be mailed to her.

    Hello, we got a letter today saying that my mother-in-law has a biometrics appointment for her greencard next week. We already have gotten her social security card. I didn't see anyone else online who had to do this, they said the greencard was just mailed to them. Has anyone else had to do this?

    Thank you all! She was able to get a copy and a certified translation!

    My mother-in-law has her IR5 interview Monday. We sent a digital copy to NVC but because my husband needed his original birth certificate for his own immigration progress we have the original, here in the U.S. Can we get a certified copy or can we send a digital copy of the original and get it translated again? Any advice? 😭

    We found out about the interview April 14th. Our interview is on June 12.

    We’ve been waiting since the middle of December. I hope you get your interview soon!

    We got DQed December 15th. Hopefully we’ll hear soon when our interview is!

    I don’t either I hope we hear something soon. I can’t find any information about processing times or wait times online for IR visas 😕

    May I ask when your documents were approved by NVC? We’re waiting on our interview to be scheduled.

    My mother-in-laws paperwork was documentarily qualified for an interview on December 15, 2022. We have been waiting for the embassy to schedule the interview. Has anyone had an interview or could anyone give me a time frame of how long theirs took?
