Hi David49 I believe I may have an almost identical situation.

I entered the states in 06 on a visit. Overstayed and eventually got married to my USC husband. my entry was via the train where they looked at my BC and Health card. My passport was empty. When it came time to prove my entry I still had the train ticket confirmation so i included that in my package. When it comes to Canada its hard sometimes to prove entry bcecause we were able to enter w just a bc and photo id. i know things are different now but when i travelled thats all u needed. I have had no problems thus far and just received my EAD. If you have any questions feel free.

My NOA's were received june 7th. I received no biometrics letter. I made an infopass appt last thursday and they couldnt explain why one wasnt sent but that everything was fine and nothing can proceed until i went for biometrics. They made an appt for me then and there for Sept 13th. I am attempting a walk in on wednesday. I regret not going to infopass sooner.

Hey all! I have posted before. Received NOA's for all three apps. 485,765 and i-130 on june 7th and nothing since. i called on july 22nd and they said i would hear something within 45 days. Received and email a week ago from uscis stating that a biometrics appt had been ordered and that i would receive such notice once a date became available. Well, i got tired of waiting on something that should not have taken this long. I scheduled an infopass appointment for this morning and had my biometrics appt letter printed right there in front of me for september 13th. He said they allow walkins on wednesdays at my local office , which is atlanta. I will try my luck next wednesday. I just am posting my experience for anyone with a similar problem. i hope i can be of help..

it has been almost THREE months and I have yet to receive my biometrics appointment. Not sure why it's taking this long for us :-/ MY friend has her GC appointment on the 30th and she filed everything 3 weeks before I did. Hope it comes soon

I am a little concerned and need your advice. I received a letter on June7th stating that my I-130,I765 and I485 applications had been received. I havent heard anything since. Its been 7 weeks! Has this happened to any of you???? I just really need to gain patience i suppose. Its just hard to hear others getting their stuff so much faster. Like a friend of mine has already done her biometrics and has her GC interview Aug 30th?!

My lawyer sent off my paperwork for my green card on May 28th and I was just wondering if it is at all possible to check on the status. I know its way too early but I was just curious if this can even be done and where I would go to do so. Thanks so much! :)

oh okay thanks ...was wondering if anyone got approved with having just one visit??...im eager to get my application in...

i am starting to get my file together...with evidence and such...i am just curious how many visits need to be made??? we have had visits but no longer have the proof (boarding passes) so i feel as tho now is the time to start documenting everything..thanks for any input

also i am from toronto canada..my fiance is in atlanta,ga..i have heard that vancouver is a lot faster in processing times...is it possible to request the vancouver office eventho montreal is closest to toronto???
