My husband was approved on July 14. It was refused and on the 221g paper they gave him they put on that administrative processing because he didn’t have his passport and we had to upload 2 forms and send 2 additional documents and they told him to submit those things. After we submitted what they wanted we were waiting for a change, then on july 14th it said issued then a few days after we were able to track his passport and got his visa and passport. He is traveling to america August 12th

The only thing is on ustraveldocs his passport update is not showing we can’t track it yet.

My husband’s status changed to issued on ceac, but on traveldocs we can’t track the passport yet. Is the issued status on ceac a mistake. Many people said AP in Pakistan can take months to even a year or 2 but my husband was only about 1 month in AP

Today my husband was approved. Ceac status said issued.

I have seen people going thru similar as me and then they said they were approved and I too am predicting that it will be approved. Thank for the positivity

Thank you. The case was expedited would that make a difference in the AP timing? The case was expedited due to my medical problem.

My husband had 2 interviews already on the same day. All they need to do is see the documents that we had to submit on ceac and the ones that we had to send by post. A few weeks ago i noticed 3 days in a row that there was updates to the case but ceac status saying refused and then on cgi that document delivery information from passport at embassy to blank. I just hope they won’t take long for a decision since my husband had 2 interviews already and I was interviewed on the phone too.

Yesterday my husband’s case status changed from refused to administrative processing. It was a 221g refusal and he had to submit a few documents and his passport that he forgot to bring on interview and had to resubmit the joint sponsor form again online. On cgi it was saying passport at embassy/consulate but a few weeks ago that changed to document delivery information. Also I checked ceac and the documents that embassy asked for are still just showing submitted it don't say accepted. Im not sure what this all means the case status change from refused to AP and the documents on ceac not saying accepted. Is this all a good sign that he will be approved? Will the documents on ceac change from submitted to accepted if at the embassy or is that just nvc stage?

I noticed on my husband’s usatraveldoc CGI if said passport still with embassy: consulate but now it says document delivery information: my husband had his interview on june 5 he was refused because he forgot to bring his passport and need to submit some documents and we did that and ceac still says refused but the other changed to document delivery information. Im not sure what it means and when i check the status of his passport is says no information available on his passport. What does this mean is he getting approved but its not in the system yet? Also for 3 days i noticed ceac saying last updated but same status.

Okay thank you. I just figured why would they ask him to send the passport if they don’t plan to approve him.

My husband had his interview at the embassy in Islamabad Pakistan. He was refused because they want my original divorce paper, the joint sponsor affidavit of support and tax return which we submitted already but they said it was not there so we submitted it again, original nikah and his passport. He had two interviews on the same day. My question is if they want him to send the passport along with the documents they ask for will he get approved after that?

My husband has an interview on Monday May 15, but his medical exam is in Lahore Pakistan with Wilcare on May 12 on a Friday. My question is what if the doctor don’t give his medical report to him and if he goes to the interview without the report?
