There is no you have to , its better to be on the safe side i have asked this question to visajourneys admin members and they have told me you can update it on the CEAC or just hand the documents to officer when its your interview, HOWEVER its better to upload on CEAC and bring documents to interview, the safer the better.

Congrats👌when is yoir interview scheduled for? and please let us know if you updated your documents on CEAC before your interview or just handed updated documents to officer because thats 1 question i was always confused on.

@podeena CHECK YOUR EMAIL, Islamabad embassy is currently sending interview letters to people who were DQd August 27, 2021 and i believe you were DQd August 22, 2021 correct?

Yah i know it will help her case alot im just worried about what if they wanted more paperwork because she visited other countries and than what if they delay her case because now they have to do extra background checks because she visited other countries too, what do you think? Thank you.

Yah i thought the DS260 asked about any countries a person visitied, so yah i think me and my wife just might not do it @Mike E what is your opinion on this, thank you.

Hello everyone i wanted to know if i can get my pakistani wife a UAE and Turkish visit visa while her i130 visa is pending, we want to travel and visit other countries, but would this be a problem for her i130 case? And would this cause problems for her during her interview and do we need to inform embassy about this or update any of her NVC documents? Thank you everyone. @pushbrk

Not sure to be honest, idk but what ever it says online on CEAC that is the official update that you have, so what ever it says om CEAC believe that

@podeena when my sisters husband had her interview they told him "oh we just need your sponsor green card copy and your visa will be ready" and than it took them a whole year to respond, so yah......

And yes what everyone here is saying is TRUE, mostly husbands are stuck in Admin processing (AP), and wifes are usually not and thats because embassy knows that majority women are stay at home women so they dont really have much background to check so that is one of the reasons why. And also @podeena sorry about your relative or friend stuck in AP since 3 month, my sisters husband was stuck in AP for full 1 year and than they responded saying to update DS260 and now since last week they said they will schedule him for medical interview because medical expires within 6 months, so now he has to do medical again and than do another interview again. So sorry to tell you the truth but your relative or friend is looking at atleast another 6-10 months before they hear anything back from the embassy. Everyone thats stuck in AP is stuck there for atleast a year and this you can confirm with other people in this website too.

yah i think inshallah you will receive your interview letter Oct or Nov 2023 and i might recevie mine Dec 2023 or Jan 2024 and that will make it around 22-23 months for both of us or you think it will be longer or faster?

Hey congrats yes its taking about 20-24 months for interview after DQ my wifes been waiting 15 months already

Embassy just made an update 2 minutes ago saying that all appointments are cancelled through May 12th.

That white slip 221g basically means your case is in AP, like i said same thing happened to my sisters husband they requested 1 document from him which was proof of employment for the joint sponsor he had and my sister submitted it next day after his interview and it took them 11 months to respond to that and now they want his updated employment documents and tax paperwork. My sisters husband has been in AP since April 2022, exactly 1 year.
