My case has finally arrived at the consulate from the NVC. I noticed that my case number has extra digits when checking on the CEAC website
Example PRG2020XXXXX1 01 PRG
Can anyone tell me what the 01 at the ends mean?

Dear Jeff,
We are processing only K visa petitions that meet humanitarian or medical exceptions:
U.S. Embassy in Prague is resuming certain immigrant visa services, including: IR1, IR2, CR1 and CR2. While U.S. Embassy Prague aims to process cases as soon as possible, there is likely to be increased wait times for visa services due to substantial backlogs. If you fall into one of the immigrant visa categories above and have immediate, emergency travel, please email us for an appointment at PragueIVP@state.gov. Otherwise, please continue to work with our colleagues at the National Visa Center (NVC) and the Kentucky Consular Center (KCC) in regards to scheduling your visa appointment.
As it pertains to your K-1 visa case, unfortunately, at this time, we are not able to process K-1 visas, unless your case meets a humanitarian or medical exception to the Presidential Proclamation restricting travel from the Schengen area to the United States. If you believe your case merits an exception (life or death, serious humanitarian, medical, etc.) please email us detailing your situation and we will make a determination on whether we can process your case. Otherwise, we ask that you wait until the Presidential Proclamation is lifted and we are able to resume processing routine K-1 visa interviews (probably not until 2021).
Best,
U.S. Embassy Prague

Well I have the form and a flight scheduled on August 28th so we will see.

I am and I lived with her for 9 mounts in 2018 and 2019 so I have an expired long term CZ residence card with a shared address so we are going to go for it.
I am so sorry and I agree it is way to restrictive.

@jawbone8547 The only thing I know so far is that they might start visa services in June again. But this is soooo uncertain. I've been told the same thing in April, that they might start in May. That makes me feel kinda desperate But I've seen that some people from other countries who already did the interview back in February and their passports were held are getting their passports with visa back. So it seems like things are moving a litlle bit
@KojenecI just saw your timeline Congratulations!!!! Everything went ok? Did you ask for an emergency interview in Prague or did they just start processing for you?

Here's their rules on what they passed:

We don't have a shared address or child or anything so I think a copy of our NOA2 and our past vacation tickets might suffice for their proof so I can go over there to visit him our case is still at the NVC since April so no telling when it'll arrive there
Thats great. I have an expired permanent residence card from Prague with our shared address so hopefully that works.
On a side note since I have not been bugging the embassy, I saw someone on a facebook group say they just got a email from Prague resuming K1's starting in August.

The best anyone can tell—> K1s are not affected by the temporary 60 day ban on immigrant visas as it is not an immigrant visas. At least one person on the forum has been issued a K1 visa since that 60 day ban started.
K1s are not exempt from the various travel bans that are currently in effect for Europe, China, Brazil, etc. Only spouses or other direct family members are exempt from these.
I see, that is what I was confused about, So K1's will still be processed but there is a travel ban that Ki's cannot enter? Did I get that right? Thanks

K-1's are not exempt from entering the USA but they are part of the visa processing that is on hold while the embassies are closed. There is no way around that.
@Greenbaum this is why it is so confusing concerning the presidential proclamation. Here is 4 screen prints of the "Immigration Suspension Executive Order - MEGA THREAD"
I am guessing they are just misinformed?

Hey all,
I thought I would start a group for those of us going through the Process from the Czech Republic. Hopefully you can check in when things start moving forward.

And then there are those waiting from previous months😂
@Dale. This is heartbreaking. I thought ours took forever. Have you put in a request to find out the status?
@Ali&Ed Thank you!!!!
@imsan I am sure it is coming soon...
@Nehan I am sure it is coming soon as well. I have had a colorful past and was super worried, I am sure it will be soon.
@Greenbaum You are awesome thanks for doing this

@Greenbaum Thank you for directing me here. I believe I updated my profile but if is not right please let me know. I see a lot of people request a P3 for the foreign consulate. Do you have one for the Czech Republic?
