    If that happens, how do I solve that problem? Is there a chance I won't be able to travel back to the U.S because of the airline or is it an easy fix? Sorry I'm really anxious abt this trip but I really wanna visit my family.

    So I am planning on traveling abroad in November/December but by then my condition green card is going to expire in 4/3 months (March). It is ok to travel internationally like that? Its it worth applying to get a Global Entry or that's going to be certainly denied?

    Probably DHS had not updated your records by the time you went to get your DL. You Probably went to DMV the next day after getting your USCIS docs. Actually that’s not true, it was after 5 months of receiving the GC. And that’s why i’m worried. I’m worried they never really updated and I will have problems.

    Does anyone know why problems with SAVE check (e.g. unable to verify or different status/outdated status) It's not an issue when it comes to travelling but it's an issue to get a DL? I would like to get more details on that if possible. Thank you!

    Thank you so much! I have one more question. When I was trying to get a DL(with GC) the DMV employers ran a SAVE check on me and it came back as status unable to be verified, or something like that. Eventually, I was able to get a DL because of another employer who said, "If she has a GC with her that's all I need". My question is, Will I have any problem because of the save check status if I travel? I have no idea how to fix that.

    I have a few questions about the extension on the conditional GC. Once you fill out and send the form I-751 do you get the extension automatically? Or you have to wait until you get a letter from USCI? (In case I need to show proof of legal status). How long does it take for you to get the letter? Can you travel with your conditional GC when the paperwork has been already sent, but the GC hasn't expired yet? Is the GC still valid even when you already sent the form is my question. Do I need extra paperwork to travel internationally?

    I don’t think it was a DMV status though I think they did a SAVE check. I was wondering if immigration (returning) do a SAVE check as well and if so, the outdated status would be a problem. Because I read that if you don’t notify DHS they won’t update it.

    So a while ago I went to the DMV to get a drivers license and they searched my GC up and it came out as a k1 holder or something? It wasn’t clear what they said but they told me my status was wrong or hasn’t been updated by the department of homeland security. I was wondering if I still can travel abroad since I have my GC (conditional) and it’s a prof I’ve been through the whole process and if stuff isn’t updated is not my fault or I have to try to fix it first? Would I have any problem with immigration returning to the US? Thank you.

    I checked it and there’s a case number from DMV. I just don’t know what to do with it. Or how to get it fixed, that’s why Inmade this topic.

    I have absolutely no idea. Can I contact them somehow? I just assumed there’s no way to talk to them. (DHS)

    I asked questions. If I hadn’t I wouldn’t have known about the issue. I’m going back there soon and the DMV lady said to look for her so she could help me with that (getting a LP). I guess I just sit and wait till DHS updates it then?

    @Verrou My green card is my ID so I showed them (supermarket (for alcoholic beverages) and the doctors office for a new patient registration) so they scanned it. I have a SSN I got it with the green card. I never heard about restricted SSN and idk if mine is. Probably not?

    The thing is I believe other places told me the same thing before the dmv (supermarket and doctors office) however they just said there was an error and I thought it was on their end.

    So recently I’ve been to the DMV to get a learners permit and they said there was an error when they scanned my green card! I had my green card interview back in March and got my green card a few weeks later. They did not tell me much about the error but it was something like USCIS havent updated my status on their system. I believe I’m still a K1 holder on their system when it should be as a permanent resident? I’m so confused. How should I proceed?
