  1. Hi everyone. I have my N-400 (application for naturalization) interview in two weeks but my I-751 hasn't been approved yet. My interview notice stated I have to bring some documents (marriage certificate, birth certificate, passport, etc.) but it didn't even state anything about my husband (the U.S. citizen) having to come. It seemed like it implied I was going alone to the interview. I'm not sure what to do besides study. Should I be prepared incase the officer is also going to do the I-751 interview? Am I supposed to bring my husband and just have him wait in the waiting room just in case? So, I basically have to take extra documents (proof of marriage) as well just in case he wants to ensure I'm still married I suppose? Thanks a lot.
  2. Hi everyone. I was finishing up my N-400 application and there was a section called "evidence of your marriage" where I uploaded practically everything we have to prove we're married (tax transcripts, health insurance, car insurance, bills....I also included photos of us on our vacations)... basically I uploaded everything I had there.. But now I saw that at the very end, there's another section that says "additional evidence you want to provide" with an option to upload... However, I already uploaded everything I had to the "evidence of your marriage" section. Do I just leave the "additional evidence" part empty or am I supposed to make any changes/add anything in particular here? Thanks a lot.
  3. Over just a year ago (early 2023), we sent in the I-751 document (petitions to remove conditions on residence) because my wife's green card was going to expire. She received the extension in the mail shortly after. We still have not heard anything back from the USCIS after receiving the extension, but apparently enough time has passed for her to now apply for citizenship. What exactly is the next step in this process? So far, we've done everything without a lawyer and I'm assuming the rest can still be done without a lawyer? Thank you very much.
