  1. My husband had his appointment on July 22nd. The officer gave him 221g for Administrative processing and didn't ask for any documents. October 1st the status changed from "Refused" to "Ready". One date change on October 7th. I thought we would have heard good news by now. Is it normal for it to take a long time in "ready" status? Should I be worried?
  2. Thank you for your positivity. It really is stressful. But im sure yours will be resolved. I just hope it's very soon. Please can you keep me updated and I will do that same.
  3. Well it's been over 60 days. The 22nd will be 3 months. But im worried about getting stuck at "ready" stage also. Did they keep your passport the day of interview? How did your interview go?
  4. Any update? My husband had his appointment July 22nd. 221g for administrative processing without asking for any documentation. October 1st status changed from "refused" to "ready" and one date change on October 7th.
  5. My husband had his appointment at the Santo Domingo Embassy on July 22nd. He was given 221g for Administrative Processing (no documents required) CEAC status day only changed on July 29th. No movement. No updates. STILL Refused. Does this mean no one is reviewing our case? Is this normal? Should I do a congressman inquiry? I've tried reaching out but only getting generic messages from the embassy. Any recommendations on what I should do would be appreciated. Or let me know if this is normal.
  6. My husband had his interview last week in Santo Domingo consulate. The officer said everything looked good but he needed to check something and gave my husband the 221g form. The bottom of 221g letter only says "We are carrying out an administrative procedure. We will contact you when finished." Officer did keep his passport. My husband had an approved i601a for unlawful presence. Doesn't have any criminal history and no double entry. I asked the officer how long this is expected to take. He said 1 to 2 weeks. The case was looked at on June 29th but still shows refused. Anyone here have something similar or knows anything about this. Please and thank you.
