  1. I got my Korean SO's dad to translate his birth certificate from Korean to English. He also signed a statement saying he was fluent in Korean and English and translated accurately. I got an RFE saying we didn't include a translation of the birth certificate. I wasn't sure if it was because they lost it, or because they didn't accept his dad being the translator. So I just found a translating company online, and had them do the translation for $50. They took that and approved my AOS.
  2. Just travelled out of the US to Japan for vacation end of May. ANA airline wouldn't let us put an expired green card in their site, so we added 4 years to the expiration date to match the extension letter. Also applied for Global Entry beforehand on 1/24/24. My (USC) Global Entry was conditionally approved immediately, but SO was not - until he finally got conditionally approved during our vacation end of May. When we arrived in US, we went to the Global Entry Enrollment On Arrival line instead of regular immigration. They just asked the typical Global Entry interview questions, have you committed any crimes, do you have any foreign citizenships. Took the extension letter no problem, and we were approved for Global Entry as well.
  3. Filed 9/4/22, NOA 9/15/22. Called to fix a typo on the form 10/18/23. 6/2/24 they updated and said they got biometrics. That notification came immediately after we took biometrics for Global Entry enrollment on arrival. I'm not sure if they shared the biometrics from Homeland Security USCBP to Homeland Security USCIS. Or maybe they reused the biometrics we already took for AOS. The VisaJourney Lifting Conditions Stats page says they're processing forms with NOA of 9/10/22, so my 9/15/22 NOA should be coming up soon. Fingers crossed! Hopefully no interview.
