  1. What?! Oh no I hope not. Montréal, QC I have seen the timelines for the I-130 on VisaJourney in average people have their interview in a weeks or 1-2 months
  2. Oh wow I expected it shorter.. From the timelines I have seen the one in Montréal, Canada goes pretty fast like 1 month but I will wait a bit before sending everything to the NVC (maybe end December/early January)
  3. Oh wow, I will check tomorrow. Indeed I expected 5 months to a year and it "only" took 55 days for us. Let's keep update each other for the next steps
  4. MY CASE JUST GOT TRANSFERRED TO THE NVC LFG!!!! Same as you, my I-824 didn't get processed 😂 Thank you for the good vibes!! Now we have to get my wife going back to the US for a job before we fill out the NVC
  5. That was fast, ours is currently at 55 days so maybe today? 😂 Luckily we are processed by California so as you mentioned it should still be alright I think. Was your I-824 to fix the missing location from the I-130 as well? I don’t remember all the history
  6. Wow that’s amazing news!! Congrats! We are still pending, the wait is still killing us but hopefully it takes the same way as your case! How many days do you have between the I-130 approval and the NVC notification?
  7. Best of luck! Do you have conditions to push for the expedite?
  8. That’s great news!! Did they just receive it or did they already process it? No news on our side still waiting for the process
  9. How long did it take you to get the 824 approved?
  10. Our case is processed by California. God bless The letter only took 2 weeks to come. Hopefully other good news will come soon
  11. That's what I was thinking just gave it a try It would have been too good to be true lol I will pray hard! Our K1 (years ago) and I-130 have both been processed in Cali, hopefully it continues
  12. We have uploaded the form I-824 on the USCIS website this morning and we just got a notification it switched from "Actively Reviewed" (from yesterday) to "Case approved" and it also indicates "Case Closed" on it. Does it mean they forwarded the petition to the NVC? (FYI: We have also mailed the form but that will only get delivered next week)
  13. After a good night of sleep and reading again the NOA2, I believe it's indeed the reason D "USCIS to send my approved immigrant visa petition to the NVC." As it's specified they will choose automatically based on my location. Sometimes key is just sleeping and reading over and over 😁
  14. Yes this is surprising.. maybe because I am French and living in Canada they didn't know which consulate to send?
  15. You are right. It is indeed the petitioner to fill out the form and not the applicant. Thanks for your help. I have already fixed that on the PDF and also some other fields. It is easy to mess up again and I am willing to make sure 100% the form is good before sending it. I have watched multiple videos to make sure I don't forget anything. Currently, the only confusing part to me is the section "Reason for Request" (Part 2.). One of the video I have watched with a similar context says to check the box D "USCIS to send my approved immigrant visa petition to the NVC." However since I didn't pick any Consulate for the NVC to send to, the choice B "U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) to notify a new U.S. Consulate, different from the one that I originally requested, through the U.S. Department of State's National Visa Center (NVC) or Kentucky Consular Center. USCIS will notify the U.S. Consulate about the approval of a nonimmigrant visa petition or about a new Port-of-Entry (the Port- of-Entry is different from what I originally requested) about the approval of a waiver application. Please notify the U.S. Consulate or Port-of-Entry at: " sounded more appropriate as I could enter the name of the US Consulate (Montreal, Canada) ? The part that makes me hesitate is the part "of a nonimmigrant visa", the I-130 does not belong to this category of visa ugh not so easy sometimes to choose 😅 Thanks again
  16. Oh wow! We left it blank I don't remember if it was on purpose or if we forgot it tbh For the I-824 I will send it ASAP as well, what did you put for Current/Recent Immigration Status?
  17. Hi, good news and bad news. As the title says my I-130 has been approved but now the USCIS ask to fill and send an I-824 to know what US Consulate we have to go through... I have understood the processing time is like 9 months? that's huge and also another $500-ish fee, the basic mistake costs a lot of money I wish they just asked this during the RFE and not another form to fill out. Any people went through this?
  18. Hello, we got asked to send an I-130a (spouse) and we forgot to fill out the contact information section where it says phone number if any - email address if any. However in the I-130 we already have written the spouse phone number in the appropriate field. I don’t really understand why they ask these infos twice (on each form) Are these info really used? And should we be okay? thank you
  19. We have sent the RFE through mail and online. We update you when it get a decision about it
  20. We just read the letter from the USCIS.... WE DIDN'T SEND AN i-130A LOL Well I didn't even know that was required. Shouldn't be too complicated to fix hopefully
  21. We just got "Request For Initial Evidence Was Sent" god damn what is this again we literally together abroad what do they want more
  22. I don't know what's going man. Maybe it's vacations time and they slow down during summer
  23. Hello June 2023 filler here, I was just wondering what’s the situation for May? I have read some of the last replies and it sounds like the current delay is 13 months, am I right?
  24. Don't worry we are all in the same situation, the estimation for NOA2 should be next month, in June
