  1. Attorney @Sandra G., thank you so much. I had sent her an email but no response. I will add this heading and send her another email as you just stated. Thanks
  2. @Family, thank you so much my friend for the thorough explanation. I will start the process tomorrow and update you how it goes. Will report her to the court house to see if I can get my money back too. Such a timely advise
  3. @Family thank you so much for helping. I paid her $9,000 and she lives in California while am in Texas. It's a long distance to go look for her and make trouble to pay me my money while I have this problem to fix before the new administration. Pls you want me to do a FOIA and see what she has filed before filing the new paper works again ? 2ndly, if I withdraw my mom's application will that jeopardize the new application ? 3rdly, for the new application can I just file i-130 alone and the parole as she has already gotten Social security number and EAD which she is not using due to the paralysis Thank you
  4. @Family, thank you so much for your response. She filed i-140 honestly, people are mean my friend that's why I was wondering why cos that is not related to family based adjustment. She filed I-140, I485 and I-765. Thats why they gave her the work authorization. So can I just use the 485 already applied so the cost wont be too much on me. Meaning applying for just i-131 and i-130 ?
  5. Hello my VJF, pls i need your advice and input. I am grateful for everyone in this group, our admins and our legends who uses their experience to help people like us. Family, I got my GC through vawa and just became a citizen 2 months ago. Prior to my citizenship, i filed for my mom who is handicapped living with me on the month of July when I applied for my citizenship. Unknown to me that the lady i engaged her service is a paralegal. This woman filed i-140, i-145 and i-765. 2 months later she got biometric notification and we went, 3 weeks afterwards she got her work authorization. Only for me to realize she did not file for i-131 and contacted her cos we need to travel home for her sister's burial on February 2025. That was when she told me she filed i-140 because i wasn't a citizen yet at July. So I told her but she was the one that said I can put the paper work in and once I naturalize we can call uscis to upgrade it besides she she shouldn't have filed it than sending the wrong primary application which is i-140. So i changed address to stop her from accessing my mom's application. Now, what should I do family ? should I send in a new i-130 and 1-131 cos my 62 years old with 2 strokes is so depressed on hearing her sister's death informing me the only way she can at peace is to attend her funeral and pay her last respect. I don't want her to hurt herself or stroke again due to her blood pressure too. Now am in dilemma. Pls kindly advise me. Thanks all
  6. @balo101thanks for your response. I was thinking I could file at 2 years and 9 months, so they ask me to wait but I have seen some other members of VJF who filed at 2 yrs , 9 months and they were not asked to wait. @Pinkrlion okay, thank you so much

  15. Yes I travelled on AP in 2021. No issues . When I arrived JFK the officer took my EAD with AP and went into the office. He asked me about my ex, name, DOB and why I travelled. Came out after an hour and asked me to proceed picking my luggage.
  16. Awesome ! Thank you so much @balo101
  17. @balo101 Thank you so much ma'am. So I should just write in this statement ""Have been an LPR for at least three years (VAWA, I.N.A § 319(a))." This is from NOLO" on the Option D ? But I am filing just at 2 years 9 months , wont' they say it not yet up to 3 years ma'am ? Will that count against me ? Pls help clarify Thank you very much
  18. @TBoneTX @Sandra G. @balo101 @Pinkrlion Hello dear Visa Journey family, I got my LPR through vawa in June 2021. I was informed of the year rule for citizenship through Vawa.
