  1. Thank you for the link. However this does not explain what to submit in case of name change/differences between passport and birth verification. also, based on the link you shared, it means the nikahnama suffices as marriage certificate?
  2. I am filing i130 petition for my mother. I just realized her name on the birth certificate has surname as her father and on passport her surname is of her husband (my father). When i saw this I selected yes for “was the beneficiary known by any other name”. Will uploading her birth certificate and passport suffice? Or do i need to upload her marriage certificate as well? Her marriage certificate is in the native language which is not english? Her marriage certificate is only “nikahnama” from Pakistan and not a Nadra certificate. Is this enough? I have no other document that clearly states the name change. The only place that reflects name change is passport vs birth certificate
  3. I became a US citizen on June 18th. I am now filing i130 for my mother. I am using the same USCIS login that I used to file my n400 application. I am asked in the i130 form for my A number. However, I shbmitted my Green Card on the day of my oath ceremony. Does this mean my A number is no longer valid? If i select the option “i do not have an A number”, the form gives me a message that this account is linked to A number “this”. Any pointers? Is it ok to type the A number even though the green card is no longer with me? Should I be creating a new USCIS login? Please help!
  4. Thanks. Interview was very smooth and the officer was very friendly. He started with the civic questions, i got the first 6 right so he stopped there. Then he asked me to read a sentence from the tablet in front of me. The sentence was “how many senators are there”. Then he asked me to write on the tablet “there are one hundred senators”. After that he moved on to the n400 application. Questions he asked me from the application were “whats my ssn” “what is my height” “where is my spouse from” “what is my spouse name”. Then he went on to the yes/no questions from the n400. We then signed at the end. He told me to wait outside as i will he called at the window to get my oath ceremony letter. Oath ceremony letter was issued and will be at the same SA field office.
  5. Just got done with my interview at San Antonio field office. Interview cleared. After the interview, i was called at a window and got my oath ceremony letter scheduled for June 18th

  12. Hi guys i just checked my mail today and i missed my biometric appointment for n400 application. I filed my case on March 1st of 2024. Online it says my biometric application scheduled letter was sent out by USCIS on March 5th. I checked my mail on March 11th and then today March 23rd. My appointment was on March 21st!!! Has anyone been on a similar boat? Any suggestions what i can do? I am thinking to visit the appointment center in Monday and request. However, online it says that it might be denied and my application will be closed. Any suggestions please?
